"Take me to the place only the Guild Master can enter."
Lucien spoke without wasting a single word.
"Yes."
Mira did not know about Fairy Heart itself, but she was fully aware of the restricted area reserved for the Guild Master.
The two moved past the bar and into the back room. After opening a hidden door, they began descending deep underground, nearly thirty meters below the surface.
When they pushed open the massive door ahead, Lucien's gaze instantly locked onto the scene before him.
The vast chamber shimmered with countless lights resembling floating stars. At the center stood a massive light purple crystal. Inside it rested a small, delicate figure with long, curly golden hair, her appearance almost fairy-like.
This was Mavis Vermillion, the first Guild Master of Fairy Tail, and the woman deeply connected to Zeref.
Fairy Heart.
Its true name was Lumen Histoire, a hidden grand magic that surpassed Fairy Law, Fairy Glitter, and Fairy Sphere.
It contained infinite magic power.
Her soul was not here, it remained on Tenrou Island.
"What overwhelming energy."
Lucien's eyes burned with greed. He could feel endless waves of power radiating from it. If he could merge Mavis into himself, he might be able to use that infinite energy to forcibly break the Odin Curse.
There was also the possibility that his useless Golden Finger might finally react.
His right arm began to crystallize as steam coiled around it. The temperature in the room steadily rose.
Mavis's body was sealed within a magical crystal, and that barrier had to be destroyed.
Boom!
Lucien struck with his full strength. Cracks spread rapidly across the crystal like a spiderweb. It was not as durable as he had expected.
Crash!
The crystal shattered completely.
Mavis's body floated downward like a falling feather. Lucien stepped forward and caught her without hesitation. Ignoring everything else, he bit into her neck in one swift motion.
At the same time, eight sharp thorns extended from his tailbone and pierced into her body.
Buzz, buzz, buzz.
A violent surge of energy erupted without warning. Mira was sent flying backward. Lucien and Mavis were lifted into the air as an immense force flooded into his body.
At that same moment, a dazzling red light appeared. Chains formed within the void and lashed out, attempting to bind Lucien.
The ground across Magnolia began to tremble violently. The shaking spread outward, reaching across the Kingdom of Fiore.
On distant Tenrou Island, a spiritual figure lifted its head and looked toward Magnolia.
Five minutes passed.
Mavis's body gradually disappeared from Lucien's arms.
Boom!
A pillar of light shot straight into the sky. Lucien's body transformed into a golden white streak as he soared upward, breaking into the universe. Blood colored chains coiled tightly around him, writhing like living things as they stained the sky red.
Across the world, countless powerful figures looked up.
The Magic Council.
The Ten Wizard Saints.
The dragons.
The Alvarez Empire.
Even Zeref himself.
Everyone felt the terrifying energy that had suddenly appeared. It was deep, suffocating, and destructive.
In the cold void of space, Lucien moved rapidly, taking over fifty steps in succession. Each step compressed space itself, allowing him to cross hundreds of thousands of meters instantly and distance himself from the Fairy Tail world.
Endless energy surged within him.
It felt intoxicating.
Techniques like Time Stop, Death Beam, and Kamehameha could now be used endlessly without concern for exhaustion.
"Hmph, you have suppressed me long enough. It is time for you to disappear."
Lucien's voice was cold as he looked at the blood colored chains tightening around his body.
His aura erupted.
His hair, pupils, and brows turned golden white. Lightning crackled wildly around him, striking nearby planets and drifting meteorites.
"Break!"
Lucien roared, pushing Life Evolution 1 to its absolute limit. With the support of infinite energy, he began tearing through the chains binding him.
"I am Odin, King of the Gods. I curse you with my soul, life, and divinity. You shall remain bound forever, sinking endlessly."
A massive, imposing figure manifested before him. The phantom of Odin appeared as the chains tightened once more.
"To hell with your King of the Gods."
Lucien's eyes turned bloodshot as he glared at the phantom.
A fierce, rising aura surrounded him, growing stronger with each passing second.
"Ah!!!"
His face twisted as veins bulged across his neck. His power surged to its peak.
The chains stretched tightly, yet they refused to break. They formed a cage around him, restricting him within a ten meter radius.
Lucien was trapped.
"Haha..."
Despite this, he began to laugh.
He could feel it clearly. The chains were being damaged. Slowly, painfully, but undeniably, they were weakening.
"You old bastard. If you were alive, I would crush you myself. Even like this, I will grind you down."
His expression twisted into something unhinged as he stared at the cage surrounding him.
With infinite energy at his disposal, time was no longer a concern.
Ten years.
Twenty years.
It did not matter.
He could endure it.
In the vacuum of space, he could survive without food or water, sustaining himself entirely through his power.
Everything was in his favor.
Only time was required.
"Pray that I never run into anything tied to your mythology again. If I do, I will wipe it all out. Otherwise, my name is not Lucien."
Odin's curse had completely enraged him. His already warped personality became even darker.
He never once considered that he had provoked this himself.
That was simply how the world worked.
The strong needed no reason.
The weak were crushed without explanation.
Fortunately, Fairy Heart existed in this world. Without it, breaking this curse would have been far more difficult.
Even now, the Golden Finger remained inactive, showing no response to the infinite energy within him.
It was completely useless.
...
Far away, the Alvarez Empire ruled over the entire western continent.
It was composed of more than seven hundred guilds.
At its peak stood the Spriggan 12, individuals whose power rivaled and surpassed the strongest mages of Ishgar.
Yet all of them served a single man.
Zeref.
The legendary Black Mage.
At the same time, another existence stood at the pinnacle of power.
Acnologia, the Black Dragon.
At this moment, both of them were looking toward the sky.
The energy had first appeared in Ishgar, but within moments, it had already traveled far beyond, yet its presence remained overwhelming.
Every powerful mage in the world felt it.
The stronger they were, the more terrifying it seemed.
At first, panic spread across the continent.
But as time passed, no immediate disaster followed.
