"Are you sure you want to challenge me now?" Vegeta narrowed his eyes as he looked at Goku.
"You should know that with your current strength, you're no match for me at all."
The moment he said that, everyone present focused on the two of them.
Krillin and Gohan grew tense.
The situation they feared the most had finally arrived.
Still, things hadn't completely spiraled out of control—at least not yet.
With Goku's arrival, Vegeta hadn't attacked immediately. Instead, he had issued a warning.
Even if there was some teasing and mockery mixed in.
Krillin and Gohan could only pray silently that if Vegeta and Goku really fought, it wouldn't turn into a battle to the death.
After spending the past few days around Vegeta, they understood his temperament fairly well. As long as he wasn't provoked, he generally wouldn't act recklessly.
For example, when they trained all day under simulated gravity inside the spaceship, Vegeta didn't stop them. On the contrary, he even offered them a few pointers.
Their feelings were conflicted.
After all, Vegeta's invasion of Earth had once brought them unforgettable despair.
Now, they could only try to think positively.
"I know I'm not your opponent," Goku said with a smile.
"But since I'm already here, if I don't even have the courage to face you, then all the hard training I've done these past few days would be meaningless."
This mindset—refusing to retreat even when facing an overwhelming opponent—was something not everyone possessed.
Vegeta's lips curved slightly. Then, without a word, he loosened his grip on Bulma's hand.
Only then did Bulma realize she had been holding onto him the entire time.
Her cheeks flushed instantly, and her heart began to pound wildly.
The sudden surge of emotion felt improper—yet she couldn't bring herself to stop.
"All of you, back away," Vegeta said calmly.
Bulma and the elite subordinates immediately understood and retreated to a safe distance, joining Krillin, Gohan, and Dende.
The area was cleared.
With no one left to interfere, Goku rubbed his hands together, eager to test himself.
Vegeta stood completely still, simply waiting for him to make the first move.
After all, the gap in strength was too great. If Vegeta attacked first, Goku wouldn't stand a chance.
The scene fell into near-total silence.
Apart from the faint sound of the wind, it was quiet enough to hear a pin drop.
Goku focused his mind and steadied his breathing. Although he hadn't released his aura yet, his ki was already fully raised, ready to explode at any moment.
The oppressive pressure made everyone watching from afar swallow unconsciously.

On North Kai's Planet in the Other World.
Under North Kai's guidance, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu were observing the situation in real time.
From the moment Goku arrived on Planet Namek, the strength he displayed had shocked all of them.
Even so, they knew very well that Goku was still no match for Vegeta.
After all, they had personally witnessed Vegeta's battle with Frieza through North Kai's abilities.
With Goku's current strength, if Vegeta became serious, Goku would be defeated almost instantly.
"This really can't be avoided…" North Kai muttered. "I just hope Vegeta doesn't take it too far."
Their worry was understandable. The battle on Earth was still vivid in their memories.
If Vegeta harbored thoughts of revenge, Goku would almost certainly die.
"From how things look now, Vegeta probably won't kill Goku," Tien Shinhan said after thinking it over.
"Yeah," Yamcha agreed. "If Vegeta wanted to, he would've acted earlier. He wouldn't be giving Goku this kind of chance."
"I think so too," Chiaotzu nodded seriously.
The three shared their opinions, while Piccolo remained silent, his brows tightly furrowed.
He understood better than anyone.
Vegeta wouldn't kill Goku—just as Goku hadn't been willing to kill Vegeta back then.
Perhaps it was because they were among the last Saiyans left.
Or perhaps Vegeta wanted Goku to keep growing stronger.
But Piccolo's heavy expression wasn't because of that.
It was because Goku's strength had risen to such an unbelievable level.
These past few days on North Kai's Planet, Piccolo's own strength had also grown rapidly. He had made breakthroughs almost every day.
And yet…
The gap was only widening.
He felt like he was falling behind the times.
With his current strength, he had only just caught up to Gohan and Krillin.
Unwilling—but helpless.
Then he glanced at Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu beside him.
Their strength had also skyrocketed, closely trailing behind him, increasing the pressure even further.
In truth, Piccolo was being overly harsh on himself.
He should have been satisfied.
Their group's growth was practically cheating—ridiculously fast.
In just a few days, they had gone from battle powers of a few thousand to tens of thousands.
If Goku had trained here back then, even with all his effort, he had only reached 8,000—and it had taken far longer.
In the end, the stronger one became, the broader the world they encountered.
They were witnessing greater power and higher existences, their horizons expanding, the shackles that once bound them breaking apart.

Goku and Vegeta stood facing each other, their breathing already out of sync.
Even without moving, the pressure Vegeta released grew heavier and heavier, making it hard for Goku to breathe.
"Damn it… has he really become this powerful?" Goku thought bitterly. "No matter what I do, is it all pointless…?"
He had to break through this situation.
He had to attack.
But how to attack was the real question.
Hesitation and conflict churned in his mind.
At this level of strength, Goku could already predict what would happen once he made his move.
If he threw this punch—what would follow?
Seeing Goku hesitate, Vegeta's interest stirred. He sneered lightly. "What's wrong? Weren't you pretty brave just now?
Giving up already? How about we forget this for now—you can challenge me again when you get stronger."
"No way!!" Goku shouted, his eyes changing sharply. "Don't underestimate me!!"
In a single breath, he unleashed the ki within his body.
A snow-white aura erupted around him, and a dense wave of energy surged forward—
Straight toward Vegeta.
