Fiora had only learned about the wedding ceremonies over the past few days. Valeon and Zelka were the ones who explained everything to her.
Since Valeon was a tribe leader, several additional rituals had been added. One of them involved receiving certain items from married leaders of other tribes.
Those items symbolized the strength and blessings given by fellow tribe leaders to help protect the newlyweds' marriage.
"Mivy, do you think these wedding rituals are exhausting?" Fiora asked the young rat girl beside her.
"The hardest part is that we can't eat until the blessing ceremony." Mivy's voice grew smaller without her realizing it. "I don't like being hungry."
Fiora instinctively reached over and gently stroked the top of Mivy's head. The girl still remembered the difficult days she had endured while living with her mother.
