"Wow...they are still here..." Hannah stared in amazement at the small cluster of clover in the corner of the playground. "Grandpapa, should we look for the four-leaf one?"
Robert was right: Ian managed to go further every day, and by the weekend, he could go as far as the nearest playground. That was the milestone he gave himself, because that was the first place Hannah wanted to take him to.
It was not far, only four hundred meters away, but it was a big achievement for him. Perhaps because the area itself wasn't crowded with people, and the bodyguard was always near them. Still...if he kept at it, he should be able to attend his son's wedding without any problem, right?
The one who was happier about this after Ian himself was probably Hannah. The first day of her winter break, Hannah woke up early and sneaked into her grandpapa's room, asking if they could have a morning walk to the playground while her parents were still asleep.
