Yuri and Haru return to school after the weekend, walking to class together. They pass by Riku and Jihoon being extra...affectionate. Yuri waves them over.
"Hey..you guys seem..."
Haru chuckles softly
"Close. Really close."
Riku nods
"Well...something happened."
Haru smiles knowingly
"I won't ask."
Riku and Yuri look at each other. Accidentally meeting eyes, but this time...it's not hopeless. They've both found who they were destined to be with, and they're ready to let everything go behind them. Their almost-kiss, the jealousy, the anger, the soft cries at night.
Yuri knows things will be different, but for the first time ever, it feels good. It feels newer.
Like new beginnings for all of them, and for the first time ever...they walk down the hallway together, meeting the other three on the way. In fact, Sowoon is with a mystery person.
"Hey guys....this is Sophia. For real this time." Sowoon says proudly. The others chuckle, and shake their heads. They all walk down towards the cat cafe. Just like the first time, but in this moment, they're ready to leave it behind them.
They're ready to make new memories..ones that don't hurt just as much. It surely feels like the end, but none of them can deny the sense of a new journey this brings. Who knows what's to come? Proposals, new relationships, some more drama between them..but for now, they feel proud. They know fate has done its job. Leaving them in stories that they never thought they'd end up in.
Then, days later, when Yuri spots the same note in his locker encased in that red envelope, he looks to his side and smiles at Haru.
"I finally found you."
