Lilith's crimson eyes lit up with quiet pleasure. She smiled, slow and satisfied, as she watched Adam holding Celine's chin firmly in place.
"Okay," she said softly, her voice almost gentle. "I'll break her slowly."
She stepped closer, the black gown whispering around her legs, and let the coiled whip rest lightly against her palm again. Her gaze never left Celine's face.
Adam kept his grip steady, forcing the White Demon to look up at him. Celine's breathing was uneven. Her cheeks burned with a mix of fury and humiliation, but she still forced the words out through clenched teeth.
"…Are you satisfied?" she spat, voice trembling despite her effort to keep it sharp. "Is this what you both enjoy? Tying someone down and playing with them like a toy?"
Adam's grip on Celine's chin tightened just slightly as he studied her defiant expression. Even bound and marked, she still forced those sharp words out. A faint, almost amused breath left him.
