Their voices were not lowered, so everyone heard them clearly.
Severus Snape and Professor McGonagall both reacted.

He had seen the wand in Dumbledore's hand.

But Snape knew better.
He had studied it.
He had felt it.
He suspected it was the Elder Wand.
Now, seeing another Deathly Hallow appear among the options, his suspicion became certainty.
Dumbledore possessed one of the Deathly Hallows.
And the object that allowed Voldemort to escape death must be another.
Only artifacts passed down through centuries could hold such power.
According to the story, the Resurrection Stone could bring back the dead.
Even if what returned was not truly alive, even if it was only a reflection shaped by memory, it was still enough.
Snape's fingers tightened against his robes.
His usual expressionless face was gone.
In its place were emotion and tension.
Expectation.
Fear.
The people behind him could not see his expression.
But something had clearly changed.
What was he hoping for?
What was he afraid of?
For the first time, his long-held obsession seemed within reach.
Snape lifted his head and looked at the screen again, waiting.
Behind him, Lockhart and Cedric were equally focused.
"In The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the Deathly Hallows were said to be created by Death itself to claim the souls of three brothers."
"Among them, the most powerful is the Elder Wand, the most mysterious is the Resurrection Stone, and the most concealed is the Invisibility Cloak."
"These three represent power, mystery, and concealment. The Elder Wand ensures victory in battle, the Resurrection Stone soothes regret, and the Invisibility Cloak allows one to remain completely unseen."
Lockhart paused briefly.
His knowledge, for once, proved useful.
"The cloak allows you to see others while remaining unseen yourself."
"However, a legend is still a legend. No one has ever truly confirmed the existence of the Deathly Hallows."
Snape spoke, finishing the explanation.
He turned his cold gaze toward Lockhart and Cedric.
Both of them felt a sudden pressure.
After a few seconds, Snape looked away.
They quietly let out a breath.
That brief moment had been overwhelming.
Usually, Snape was just strict and unpleasant.
But just now, he had felt different.
Cold.
Silent.
Almost lifeless.
His eyes had looked like those of someone staring at the dead.
Professor McGonagall also noticed the change.
The emotion in Snape's eyes was unmistakable.
He no longer looked like someone suppressing everything.
He looked human.
She stepped forward and spoke.
"But now, the legend has appeared."
"Then it is no longer a legend."
Snape's voice was tense.
There was excitement in it.
A faint smile even appeared on his face.
It was subtle, but unmistakable.
Professor McGonagall followed his gaze to the second option.
"Severus."
Her voice was firm, but tired.
"Yes."
"The Resurrection Stone cannot truly bring someone back. It only creates a figure shaped by memory. It is not real."
"How do you know?"
Snape's voice rose sharply.
"When legend becomes reality, we cannot be certain what these objects truly do. Your conclusion is based on a children's story."
"Can something written in a fairy tale be treated as truth? That would be absurd."
"As for the truth, it must be tested."
