(This is last week's 1000 Power Stone Chapter.
P.S: I want to remind that Power Stones chapters are guaranteed ones. As those are the ones I promised to deliver.
The regular daily chapters? Well it depends on my IRL circumstances.)
"What the hell, Kira!!!" Cagalli complained, as before her was the Strike. The Gundam tanked the final hit, now the girl doesn't know if the red Gundam pilot is dead or not!
"He is my friend, leave him to me—"
At that moment, another Gundam appeared from thin air as it had a pike in its hand and went for Red Moebius Zero.
The black-haired girl's eyes widened as she felt danger to her life.
It was so sudden that it baffled her mind. Where did this machine come from!?
But in the last second, a yellow blast slammed into the cockpit of the stealth machine, causing the attack to stop midway.
Cagalli breathed heavily as she just 'danced' with death.
Kira, who was in a similar surprised situation, snapped out and looked where the shot came from. To his surprise, it was quite a distance away.
'He sniped…from there!?'
"Kira, if you can't decide then return to Archangel, you are basically grounded, until further notice."
Marcus said that through the command channel, so basically, the entire 8th fleet heard that.
"...Can…He even do that?" Mu La Flaga commented; he was speechless. For the first time in his life, he heard someone ground their child in the middle of a battlefield.
"Of course I can. I am General AND his father, so it's double the command power." The disguised Emperor replied.
Kira sighed as he closed his eyes for a second before turning the Gundam around and flying towards Archangel.
Cagalli, who was still shaking, took a deep breath as she looked at two gundams floating around her.
'Hmph!'
At that moment, she summoned her barrels and positioned the disabled Aegis towards Archangel and smacked it towards the huge warship.
One way or another, she will have a Gundam by the end of the day!

"Sir…"
"I know. We are losing."
'I never imagined… but it makes sense. Anaheim Enterprise is responsible for a considerable number of genetic advances. It would seem he brought some Coordinators that could balance out the battlefield.' Rau Le Creuset pondered as he looked at the captain of Vesalius.
"Send the signal, we are retreating."
"...Bu-But sir…" The captain was flabbergasted. Patrick Zala's son could be dead! They need to retrieve him! That's ZAFT leader's son they are talking about!
"Do you think I don't know?" The blonde masked man replied; he knew his hide was on the line.
But the issue was that he had underestimated that man's capabilities.
"Understood! Send the signal!"
At that moment, all of the ZAFT ships sent flares out, and whatever of the GINN left swiftly retreated.
'This is not over, Marcus Anaheim, I will remember this.' The masked man narrowed his eyes behind his mask. He will find a way to make him suffer.

As the 8th fleet was celebrating its victory, the four wreckages of the stolen Gundams got transferred into Archangel.
Marcus decided to have the massive warship as his flagship because, honestly, it only makes sense to do that.
"Do bring over the parts needed to fix them up. We need them functioning as soon as possible." The disguised Emperor and the boss of the Earth Alliance said to the mechanics of Archangel.
"...Sure… but we need more people for the repairs."
"Don't worry, we are getting supplies from Earth and Moon as we speak," Marcus said to the head mechanic as he looked at the wreckages of four GAT units that he recovered.
"I am keeping the red one!" Cagalli said to her father.
"Sure, but how are you feeling?" He looked at the girl.
For a second, several emotions washed over her. But then her old man pulled her into a hug. At that moment, she turned stiff like a wooden board.
"...I am…fine. It spooked me a bit. But I am more impressed that you hit the mobile suit from that distance." She whispered to him.
"Oh, that, it's the power of Geass. You should awaken it as well; it should allow you to predict something like the incident you experienced." He smiled at her as his right hand rubbed the back of her head.
"...Right… the precursor power…"
"Indeed, we can talk about that after the Gundams get fixed." He replied as his gaze fell on the machines.
"Sure. Which one do you want to use?" The Princess asked as if they were in a supermarket, buying snacks.
"Ha, we shall see. It's a hard pick." He shook his head as he let her go. The girl slightly puffed that he was not playing with her on the machine selection.
"We should go and see your brother."
"Well, that idiot needs to be grounded! He nearly killed me!" Cagalli crossed her arms and complained to him.
"I know. He is a bit naive. Most likely inherited your mother's attitude."
"...hmph… whatever."
Still, the pair left the hangar and went to the higher levels, where they found Kira in his room.
For a second, the Prince and Princess stared at each other.
"I am…Sorry, I didn't know there was another machine stalking that area."
"You better! I nearly became a shish kebab!" The black-haired girl replied with an annoyed look.
But then she sighed. "Thankfully, father was there." The girl looked away for a bit.
"Don't mention it. That's what dads do, save their baby girls." Marcus rubbed the girl's hair, making her take several steps into the cabin to dodge the annoying hair rub.
Kira showed a strained smile as he watched their interaction.
"...So what will happen to me? I am pretty sure there should be some sort of court for what I did." The brown-haired teen sighed in resignation.
"I bet. But knowing our father, he will pull some strings and let nepotism do its thing." Cagalli turned around and looked at her father.
"Something like that." Marcus walked over and looked at his son.
"A lesson for the future. I suggest you decide and simply do it rather than waver.
You didn't want to fight your friend, yes?"
"...Yes…"
"In that case, you should beat him and make him listen." The disguised Emperor ended up sitting on the opposite side.
"...But…"
"It's the only option, because it's a clash of opinions. When diplomacy fails, you pick up arms and make the other side understand.
Trust me, I know that better than anyone in this world, or my world. I was the one who dragged humanity to space; I didn't care if they wanted to or not. It was not their decision to deny me."
"...But isn't that…"
"Barbaric? evil? Inconsidered? And many more, yes, but not doing it and simply staring at things before you is even worse.
My solution may not be the best for everyone, but it's a solution nonetheless, whereas your indecision isn't even a solution.
It's like watching a bomb right before you, ticking away. You are simply staring at it, while I? I launch it in space.
Will it hit something? Maybe? Maybe not, the point is that I did it."
"..."
"Is this what they call father and son talk?" Cagalli, who was holding her cheeks with her palms, looked at the two from another bed.
"You can say that." Marcus snorted as he got up.
"It's not my first time."
"...Oh, right, I have another three brothers!" Cagalli recalled those small details.
"Yes, well, they are quite something." The Emperor wore an array of expressions.
"Do tell!"
And so with a sigh, Marcus told the twins about his sons. The oldest Trajan was basically a nerd technology developer, the middle one, Scipio, was what they call 'Strategos' or more precisely an Admiral and a leader of expedition fleet leading the vanguard, and waiting for the first contact with aliens.
While the youngest, Iskandar, was the Emperor of another Empire of Humanity.
"None of them has normal lives… though I doubt it's possible with such genes.' Kira looked at his hand. Honestly, he wanted something simple, but regardless of what he does, he excels, and at some point, it becomes simply boring.
"That is so cool! All of them have important roles! One even rules another reality!" The Princess almost bounced at the idea of meeting her cool older brothers.
"Well, yes… I say, would history repeat itself?" Marcus sighed.
"In what way?" Cagalli had a strange feeling.
"Well, Iskandar's mother was a Princess, my company in that world was helping that country, and so… well…"
The girl deadpanned as she realised what had happened.
"She seduced you."
Marcus shrugged.
"Indeed, so learn from my experience." He showed her a strained smile.
"Hmph, I don't call it a failure." The black-haired Princess snorted.
"Well, it's not really a failure, but your mother hid you two, so it's annoying to me, since I had no chance to see you in the cute phase." The disguised Emperor complained to them.
"Gah! You just want embarrassing photos and moments to tease us later! No wonder Lacus is like that! She learned it from you!"
"...Precisely my point. I don't have that privilege."
"...Maybe it's for the best," Kira commented with a strained smile.
"...Indeed."
"Anyway, we should go and check on your friend. I hope Lacus didn't give him a heart attack."
"...why would she?" The Prince got out of bed, confused and concerned.
"Imagine you see someone who looks like your fiancé but is older and wearing your enemy's uniform." Marcus pointed that little detail out.
"...Fair point."
~~~
"...Hmm… blue hair… blue hair… that should be you."
'That voice… is that…Lacus? No, it's a bit deeper. And it couldn't be her, she is in PLANTs by this point.' Athrun was sure his fiancée couldn't be here; it should be impossible.
But then he saw a pink-haired woman with cerulean eyes walk over to his cell. When he saw her face, his eyes bulged out as if he had just seen a ghost.
"We finally meet. Athrun Zala, yes? That is your name."
"...Yeah…"
"Little Lacus talked quite a bit about you, so I wanted to see you in person." The military-uniform-wearing pinkette smiled slightly while saying that.
"...Who are you… You look just like Lacus."
"Yeah…" Even Dearka from the other cell commented with disbelief. Athrun realised that he was not seeing things, and he didn't have a concussion.
"Ah, that look, I've been getting it quite a bit. To answer your question, I share a practically identical genetic sequence to the one you call Lacus Clyne.
After all, we share the same DNA provided by Professor Clyne."
"...The way you speak… are you saying Lacus is a clone?"
*Snort*
"Cloning is a crude method of making a copy. It's just a copy and paste. In fact, your commander is a proper clone from what I understood." Lacus placed her finger on her chin as she looked at the ceiling, thinking loudly.
"What? Impossible! ZAFT would have known that!" The bandaged silver-haired teen complained loudly.
"Cute. Raising your voice won't make that fact false." Lacus rolled her eyes for a second.
"I am quite closely connected to Anaheim Enterprise." She showed her ring. Giving them some idea of what she was.
"And the genetics labs there did some fascinating work.
Among them, researching superior beings to Coordinators."
"...Superior… is that even possible?" Athrun wondered what kind of mad lab it was! What kind of creations did they do!
"Genetics is quite a field. You see, your little Lacus is what is known as an Accord; she has all the abilities of a Coordinator, none of its shortcomings and even psychic powers."
"..."
"Speechless, I know. She was speechless too. Funny how PLANTs just hide everything under a rug.
Or…wait, that woman could have hidden all of that! I wonder what she is doing now." All of a sudden, Lacus had this pondering look; she wondered what Aura Mana Khyber was doing at the moment!
"Lacus. Don't just reveal everything left and right."
When Lacus heard that voice, she perked up. The lady looked at the doors.
It was Marcus with the twins.
"Why not? Athrun needs to know whom he is going to marry in the future." Lacus puffed a bit. She enjoys teasing these kids left and right.
"Assuming he could leave this place. None of the treaties on how one treats POWs exists." The Boss of Earth Alliance said with a small smirk as he looked at his newest prisoners.
His comment made the guys in the cells wince. He was right. Most of the time, they just kill people. Well, sometimes they arrest and just make them work in labour camps.
