Chapter 129 - Little Green Goblin Harry

"Tsk... don't tell me I'm actually the spider-web event in this universe?"

The way things were developing had gone so far beyond Bant's expectations that he was starting to suspect maybe Uncle Ben was not the real trigger for the spider-web event in this universe at all.

Maybe it was him.

Honestly, if not for the Omnitrix, he might really have died by now.

If that were true, Bant would actually feel a lot more relaxed.

All this time, because Uncle Ben and Aunt May were ordinary people, Bant had no choice but to go out of his way to protect them and prevent any accidents from happening.

But if the universe's destined spider-web event was supposed to happen to him, then Bant really wanted to see which of Spider-Man's weakling villains could survive a single punch from Four Arms.

To be honest, class had gotten a little boring anyway, so playing around with these guys to pass the time was not such a bad idea.

Kraven, of course, had no idea what he was thinking.

Right now, with no one able to stop him, he waved one hand and directly grabbed Bant too, then swaggered off under everyone's gaze.

"Little Bant!"

Seeing this, Felicia and Mary Jane no longer cared about the danger and hurried after him. But Kraven vanished after only a few leaps, far beyond anything they could catch.

The two girls could only lean against the window and sigh at their own helplessness.

"What exactly happened?"

Gwen lowered her phone. Only now did she finally get a chance to ask what was going on.

Mary Jane said anxiously, "That guy wants to use Little Bant and Peter to lure Spider-Man out."

"Lure Spider-Man out?"

Gwen froze for a moment.

But Peter was Spider-Man.

At that thought, the little bit of worry she still had suddenly felt ridiculous.

Not only was Peter Spider-Man, Bant was probably Spider-Man too.

There were two Spider-Men, and there were also two Parkers.

Honestly, that was way too easy to guess.

By the time Gwen learned that Peter was Spider-Man, she had already guessed that the other Spider-Man was probably Bant.

"So in other words, that villain can't handle Spider-Man, so he wants to capture Peter and Bant and use them as bait?"

He could not beat one Spider-Man, so he went ahead and captured two Spider-Men together?

Was that not a little too absurd?

That scene was so dramatic Gwen almost forgot to be worried.

Instead, she found it funny.

She even started feeling a little sorry for the villain.

So she quickly tried to reassure them.

"Don't worry. I think Spider-Man will save them..."

Her comfort clearly worked.

Mary Jane and Felicia both calmed down a little.

Felicia said, "It'll definitely be fine. Bant invented so many amazing things, he should have some kind of safety device on him. Right now, what we need to do is lock down the news so Uncle Ben and Aunt May don't find out."

Mary Jane agreed immediately.

Uncle Ben and Aunt May were getting old. If they found out Bant and Peter had been taken, they would be terrified.

"Ugh, if only I had superpowers too. Then Little Bant wouldn't have been taken."

Felicia clenched her fists in frustration.

At that moment, she almost wished she could find the lizard serum Connors had left behind. Even if it turned her into a monster, she would still go save Bant.

That side of her made Gwen look at Felicia in a whole new light.

At first, Gwen had thought Felicia was the quiet, delicate type.

Now it seemed that was not necessarily true.

"Don't worry. The police have already moved out," she added in consolation.

Of course, everyone knew the police were just an extra.

Sometimes you really could not blame the public for not trusting the police.

Their efficiency was simply too low.

A supercriminal like Kraven only needed a few minutes to commit a crime. By the time the police arrived, he would already be long gone.

"We still have to rely on ourselves." Mary Jane forced herself to pull it together and said, "Felicia, can you get in touch with Primus?"

Both Mary Jane and Felicia already knew about Primus, though Mary Jane had never actually been there.

"I think we can send out those robots and have them help."

"There's no need to go that far."

At that moment, another voice rang out.

Harry walked out with anger written all over his face.

He had originally been in the middle of handling his transfer procedures.

Norman wanted him to be closer to Bant and Peter, so he had arranged for Harry to attend Midtown High as well.

But who would have thought that something like this would happen on his very first day?

He had rushed out of the principal's office, but he was still a step too late.

By the time he arrived, Bant and Peter had already been taken.

That left him furious beyond words.

There was no need to even mention Bant.

If not for Bant lately, Harry would never have been able to hold his head high in front of his father.

Sure, Norman still thought he was inferior to Bant, but Harry did not care.

Who the hell could compare to Bant?

Had they not all seen Tony Stark get outclassed by him too?

Primus was about to move into new energy soon, and Stark's Arc Reactor was practically an antique by now.

As for Peter Parker, that childhood friend who had grown up by his side, Harry had always treated him like a little brother under his protection.

To be honest, Peter's timid-looking demeanor really did satisfy Harry's protective instincts.

Now that both Peter and Bant were in danger, how could Harry possibly sit still?

He directly picked up the phone and called Primus.

"Eunice, locate Bant's position immediately."

At the same time, Harry slammed a small suitcase he had with him onto the table and pressed the button on it.

Click!

The lock sprang open.

The case opened, and a gust of cold air spilled out.

Inside that small case was a lightweight Green Goblin battle suit.

"Isn't that Green Goblin gear?"

Gwen froze.

Hearing that, Harry said, "Is there a problem? Storm's gear was stolen from Osborn in the first place. It is only being recovered now."

After Storm had been captured, Osborn had started recovering the Green Goblin equipment and modifying it on top of the original design.

After all, the original Green Goblin armor had been better suited to someone like Storm, whose physical condition was much stronger. It was still a little difficult for an ordinary person to handle.

As for the Green Goblin armor, Harry had originally wanted to give Peter and Bant a surprise.

He had gotten Norman to make three sets.

That way, the three of them could form a team and go out as superheroes together, just like the two Spider-Men.

That was also exactly why he had brought the armor with him today.

He had planned to show it to Peter and Bant after school.

Instead, this happened.

"Mr. Harry, Bant's position has been located."

After Harry made the request, Eunice first asked Bant whether the coordinates should be sent out, and at the same time informed Bant of Harry's current situation.

When he learned that Harry had actually become a Green Goblin, Bant agreed to Harry's request and had Eunice send out his location.

To be honest, Bant was a little surprised when Harry suddenly pulled out Green Goblin armor.

But then he remembered that in the Ultimate Universe, Harry's version of the Green Goblin was something closer to a superhero, and he relaxed.

Whether he became Green Goblin or Agent Venom, it did not really matter.

As long as he did not go dark.

As a bonus, this was also the perfect chance to come clean to Harry about Spider-Man's identity.

They were all brothers anyway.

There really was nothing that could not be said.

And sometimes, when you made things clear upfront, you actually avoided a lot of melodramatic nonsense.

On the other side.

Harry had already put on the Green Goblin armor.

A virtual radar projection floated above his wrist, with a glowing red dot moving nonstop.

"Found them!"

He pushed off with both feet, and flames burst from the underside of the glider. His whole body slowly lifted into the air.

"Wait for my good news."

With that, Harry shot out of the school and sped off in the direction Kraven had fled.

At the same time, the news that Bant and Peter had been captured was also delivered to Nick Fury.

Originally, his group had still been discussing whether they should tell Peter the truth about how Richard and Mary had died, and use that to draw him in.

But what none of them expected was that before they could make a move, they received news that Peter and Bant had already been taken.

The ones who passed the information along were, of course, the agents Nick had planted in advance to keep an eye on Bant and Peter's movements.

Not only that, but they had also learned another unexpected piece of news.

Harry Osborn had become the second Green Goblin.

"Look at that. Another superhero."

Nick was so happy he looked like he had just hit the jackpot.

If he could recruit them all into the Avengers, he would finally have enough people to fill out a whole team.

But what delighted him even more were those criminals.

He honestly had no idea which genius among geniuses had come up with the idea of kidnapping Bant and Peter.

"Based on our calculations, Spider-Man's strength might even be enough to wrestle with that big guy. And Bant isn't nearly as good-tempered as Peter. I seriously wonder whether these criminals are going to get torn to pieces."

He said it with a laugh.

On the other side.

Kraven quickly brought Bant and Peter to an abandoned factory.

Even though the kidnapping targets were just two high school students, the cautious Kingpin still had not shown himself.

Inside the factory, several well-known villains started revealing themselves one after another when they saw Kraven return.

Aside from Bullseye and Kraven, who had already appeared before, what surprised Bant was that several other famous villains had gathered here too.

For example, Shocker, who was wrapped from head to toe in a yellow suit, and Aleksei the Rhino, who had been transformed into a mechanical brute.

"Looks like you've picked up quite a few more enemies lately," Bant said in a low voice.

Normally, he did not pay much attention to Peter's superhero career.

But clearly, compared with a few months ago during the Green Goblin incident, there were now a lot more people who wanted Spider-Man dead.

"Spider-Man always has enemies."

Peter was no longer surprised by it.

"What are you two whispering about? I'd advise you to be smart and call Spider-Man out right now, or else..."

Shocker grabbed his wrist device, then extended his hand toward a huge oil drum several meters away and clenched all five fingers.

Boom!!!

An invisible sonic blast immediately exploded outward.

In an instant, the empty oil drum was crushed into a twisted lump like a soda can.

"Or you die!"
