It was just like any other warm mid-spring day. The birds were chirping, the sky was clear with a few spots of white, fluffy clouds, and the flowers were in full bloom.
Sebastien sat on the stone ledge overlooking the entire Haywood Campus. Just like the other academies in the country, the campus was tucked away in a secluded area of the region, away from prying eyes and surrounded by beautiful nature. He could see the cherry blossoms just above him from where he sat, and a sea of green flora covering every inch of the place like an infestation.
He took a deep whiff, the smell of petrichor still lingering in the air.
