Even though they were going to stay here, Elion still wanted Isla to be as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, the workshop was far too empty for that sort of thing.
There were no soft surfaces they could use as a bed, only tables, platforms, workstations, and a few strange devices that were probably better left untouched until they both understood what they actually did.
Elion looked around for a few seconds. Then he sighed.
In the end, he gently took Isla's hand and pulled her along toward one of the wide platforms near the wall.
"Come on."
Isla followed him quietly.
The platform was smooth, clean, and wide enough to sit on comfortably, though it was still colder and harder than he would have liked. Elion glanced at it, then frowned slightly.
"This will not do."
Isla blinked. Before she could ask what he meant, Elion raised his hand.
A soft layer of water formed above the platform, spreading out like a thin mattress before stabilising under his control.
