The metal bars didn't budge even a little.
The four men strained as much as they could, their muscles tensing as they pushed and pulled, testing different points along the gate, trying to find some kind of weakness, but the structure remained completely unmoved, as if it had been rooted into the ground itself.
One of them stepped back and slammed his shoulder into it.
Clang!
The sound echoed out sharply.
Still nothing.
Gale's expression darkened further.
"Useless," he muttered under his breath, gripping his cane a little tighter as he tapped it impatiently against the ground.
"Break it!"
The men exchanged quick glances before nodding.
One of them stepped forward, his aura flaring slightly as mana gathered around his arms, veins bulging along his skin as he drew back his fist and drove it forward.
Boom!
The impact rang out, louder this time, the force sending a faint ripple through the metal, but the gate remained intact. There was not even a dent in it.
