Chapter 385 - Chapter 383 Can I Give You My First Time?

"Boss! Boss!!! Our restaurant is back on the list! Braised Chicken Rice is number twenty ninth! The other four dishes are all in the top one hundred!"

Mai Ge, who was preparing breakfast for Amy, heard a series of urgent knocks on the door. As soon as he opened it, Yabemia rushed in, excitedly exclaiming.

"Huh?" Mai Ge paused for a moment, then his face lit up with surprise. "Mia, is what you said true? Braised Chicken Rice is back on the list, and it's number twenty ninth?"

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes! Our restaurant really made it back onto the list!" Yabemia nodded, her face full of excitement.

"Ding! Congratulations, host! One of your dishes has successfully entered the top 30 in this food ranking competition. Mission successful! Reward for this mission: The recipe for the Häagen-Dazs ice cream set meal has been issued. You can enter the Chef God Trial Ground to learn at any time." Just then, the system's voice sounded.

Mai Ge looked at the gleaming experience pack in his mind and couldn't help but laugh.

This mission was completed rather unexpectedly. He had been prepared to accept the punishment for failure, but unexpectedly, just when things seemed hopeless, a new path opened up. He simply lay down, slept, and without doing anything, the mission was completed.

"What's going on? What explanation did the Catering Association give?" Mai Ge stopped smiling and asked Yabemia.

"I don't know the specifics, but the president of the Catering Association seems to have changed from the chubby president last time to a tall and thin one. He even came to our restaurant for a meal. And he's really amazing. Besides getting our restaurant back on the list, he also removed many other restaurants from the list because their rankings were fake. He even banned them from the list for three months." Yabemia shook her head and said, still a little excited as she recounted what she had just witnessed.

"I didn't expect such a big change. It seems the City Lord is very determined this time. But it's quite surprising that he didn't forget to put Restaurant Mai Mi back on the list." Mai Ge said with a smile. Based on Yabemia's description, he could roughly guess that the newly appointed president was the vice president Robert, who had been transferred from the city lord's mansion.

The change of power between the old and new leadership in the Catering Association is bound to cause some turmoil, both within the Catering Association itself and in the catering industry of Aden Square.

However, he did admire the newly appointed president's decisive and efficient methods, he cut through the mess quickly. Although this might cause some backlash, but it was better to suffer a short pain than a long one. If the Catering Association wanted to get out of the quagmire it had been in for more than a decade, it had to bear some consequences. This was unavoidable.

However, as long as the Catering Association can regain its footing and is no longer held hostage by capital, then perhaps in the near future they will see a decent Catering Association reappear in front the world. An industry without any supervision and restrictions is not a good thing, and Mai Ge agrees with this view.

Of course, what made Mai Ge happiest was that the mission was a success—the Häagen-Dazs set meal recipe! This is great, Amy can have delicious ice cream tomorrow.

Soon after, Sally arrived, also with a happy smile on her face. However, after seeing the smiling faces of Yabemia and Mai Ge, she did not repeat the message again.

"Daddy, tomorrow is our day off. Can I invite my friends over for lunch tomorrow?" Amy asked Mai Ge as she came downstairs, her voice filled with anticipation.

"Yes, Amy. You can invite your friends over tomorrow. And I can even make some special desserts for you and your friends." Mai Ge nodded with a smile. This set meal was perfect timing, it would allow the children to enjoy some delicious ice cream.

"Dessert?" Amy's eyes lit up, and she asked curiously, "Is it something sweet like Sweet Tofu Pudding? Little Amy loves it!"

"It's a little different from Sweet Tofu Pudding. Litte Amy will find out tomorrow." Mai Ge said mysteriously.

"Okay, I believe Daddy's desserts will be absolutely delicious." Amy nodded, her little face full of anticipation.

"Boss, are you entertaining guests tomorrow? Do you need our help?" Yabemia asked Mai Ge.

"I don't think I need your help, but if you're free tomorrow, you could come over and have a day off, and try out the restaurant's new dishes tomorrow at noon." Mai Ge said with a smile to Mia and Sally.

"Okay, I'll definitely come. What about you, Aisha?" Yabemia nodded happily, looking at Sally and asking.

"I don't have anything else to do, so I can come over." Sally nodded, quite looking forward to the desserts Mai Ge had mentioned.

"Okay." Mai Ge smiled and nodded.

Outside the restaurant, two long queues still formed. The customers were quite happy that Restaurant Mai Mi had returned to the list, but they also felt sorry that Restaurant Mai Mi had given up voting on the last day, otherwise its ranking would definitely have been higher.

"Restaurant Mai Mi is back on the list, Boss Mai must be so happy, right? Today I'm going to the Landai Fabric Shop, I can't keep wearing the veil anymore, but... will he look down on me?" In the long queue, Gloria looked towards the restaurant, reaching out to brush aside the white veil in front of her, her expression slightly nervous.

Gloria's slender, pale hand clenched into a fist. Her pink dress, tied with a gold ribbon at the waist, and her graceful figure attracted the attention of many customers, who were curious about what kind of person was beneath the white veil.

The restaurant door opened, and the guests congratulated Mai Ge as he came out.

"Thank you all for your concern and support. The restaurant is now open for business, please come in." Mai Ge said with a smile, genuinely touched by the guests' kindness.

As the guests entered the restaurant one by one, Mai Ge greeted each one with a smile and a nod. A figure in light pink stopped in front of him.

"Welcome." Mai Ge said with a smile, looking at the girl in the veil. Although he had never seen the girl's face before, but she had come almost everyday for a serving of Sweet Tofu Pudding. Her voice was lovely, but she rarely spoke and had never interacted with him.

But today, she stopped, her eyes behind the white veil fixed on Mai Ge, as if she had something to say.

The guests behind also stopped and watched this scene with some curiosity.

"Thank you for curing the spots on my face, so, can I give you my first time?" Gloria asked Mai Ge nervously.
