Chapter 111 - Chapter 111

Behind the terrific terrorizing of these terrorizers in their own territory... was of course, Ronan.

Who was using this whole ordeal to actually just test some stuff out.

Obviously, payback was still the prime motivator... but after enacting just that towards the guilty parties... he quickly moved on to other opportunities.

He figured, why stop at just a handful of tribes when he could go against all of them?

Ronan saw that Great Grass Sea as free real estate anyways... and a "retaliation" was a justifiable enough cause for him to not be seen as some conquering prick.

In any case, a number of them attacked first and he simply counter-attacked... on all of them.

Besides, they're Dothraki... so maybe there wasn't much sense to having a relatively cleaner conscience when it comes to wiping them out.

Ronan proceeded as he had.

Getting his mother to march out the troops... and having them test some other stuff he's cooked up.

Advanced carriages and campaigning processes were just a part of it.

Especially when some of the armor sets are a level higher in technology than the former ones.

Since it involved the art of necromancy.

After all, he didn't torture those necromancers in Nefer for no reason.

Undead magic is what he had his eyes on. And resurrection was fairly prevalent in this fictional world that he's on.

Like what was availed by that Snow who knew nothing and what was spammingly used on that Dondarrion dude.

Apparently, in the books, the annoying Catelyn Stark got revived as well.

Not to mention the zombie wights and whatever Qyburn did to the Mountain.

Fortunately for Ronan, those Nefer necromancers were "cooperative" and he was grinding away to perhaps reach the level of the Night King, the Lord of Light, and hopefully beyond.

Which is still in the distant future... but he's got considerable progress at present... in the form of the Bronze Eagle suit.

Long story short, he sacrificed an aging Eagly in a ritual but instead of putting the birdy's soul in a necromatize body... he stuffed it in a runed armor that ambitiously had wings.

The result was something that was inspired by Horus in that Gods of Egypt movie. But more streamlined...

A Bronzorus... was what he privately called it.

With long distance lens in the eagle-headed helm... and Eagly soul serving as the AI that helps lessen the burden of controlling the wings.

It was admittedly hodge podge but hey... it worked and got handed over to an Order member that was a leader figure in the "bird unit".

A literal Winged Knight... yet was no Arryn... to which Jeyne sent quite a number of letters to him about.

And to swiftly move on from that... he also made a Bronzubis... or the Bronze Hound. Which was no guide of the afterlife and no Sandor Clegane since it was more of a balancer creation to give to the K9 unit.

Its dog-shaped helm heightens the wearer's sense of smell... with a bark translator that he's hoping to develop via the dog soul he infused... which didn't quite work out as well as the eagle attempt... but hey, it is what it is.

With the K9 unit representative actually quite satisfied with that work in progress already.

As for the "Poison Tailed"... it was his bronze armor take on a Spidey villain once again after the Rhino... the Scorpion.

A Bronze Scorpion suit... with its huge metasoma actually infused with a snake soul for optimal appendage movement.

Oddly enough, its stinger also wasn't laced with that much scorpion poison since it's more of a toxin mixture developed from the knowhows of Shroom Folk, the Milk Snakes, and the Frog Pickers.

Either way, the lucky wearer was an Order member that was most inclined with the poisoning arts.

Of course, for the Bronze Frost... Willam was finally receptive enough to try it on... and yeah, it was a rather cool fit. Even when it was old iteration armor without all the soul bonus.

However, it did incorporate the Don't-Lose-the-Valyrian-Steel-Sword gauntlets... so the handy Cutlery was still an option for his cousin, even with all the ice powers.

And yep... these Don't-Lose-the-Valyrian-Steel gauntlets became a standard issue for all the high performing Order members that were assigned to Valyrian steel weaponry.

Ice Pick included. Effectively making the spear a more than decent long-range weapon.

Granted, there's only so few V-steel that his undersea scouring has scoured... and Ronan figured that Royce bronze is the magic alloy that had better premise and promise... which resulted in all the other arsenal that were being tested out.

The bronze flaming sword that originally started out as a recreation of Hiccup's collapsable flaming sword... but the collapsable part became a headache...

Hence, it was just a sword that was simply hot and flaming... with wildfire... which was honestly just alright.

And this alright results were pretty much embodied by the others.

Like the bronze spear... that he imagined to be twisty and ferocious like the spear arts of the Wuxia stories he's read.

A spear transforming into a dragon was the vision but with only snake souls available... a snakey spear was what it became.

As for the snakey staff... well, it was his try at recreating that staff in Doctor Strange.

Same with the inspiration for the boots... but summoning platforms to vault around was still a reach... but jumping and speed boosts were what worked.

Accordingly, a bronze hammer that smited lightning had a source that was obvious enough.

Alas, it was no Mjolnir.

And alas, the sun axe was no Divine Axe Rhitta.

Then again, as mentioned, Ronan considered these creations of his to be quite alright.

With many many rooms for improvement... more so when the daring Dothraki were plentiful enough to serve as guinea pigs for these future versions to come.

Which is why their unexpected plea for leniency and diplomacy be damned.
