Chapter 251 - Chapter 251 My sister is waving at me!

Seeing Bell's pitiful, frozen state, Iri sighed softly.

Forget it… since she's dead, I'll let her go!

It'd be perfect to just return to Nazarick and get a Doppelganger to replace her, Iri thought. She reached into her spatial bag for a teleportation scroll, then felt it wasn't quite right.

Having a Doppelganger take on Bell's appearance and follow her, while throwing Bell's body to the Insect Girl as a snack, would indeed solve everything.

However, Bell knew many internal secrets of Theocracy, and her intelligence gathering ability was exceptionally strong. She had even managed to overhear Iri's secret conversation with the Dragon Queen without Iri noticing. A Doppelganger might not possess this ability.

Moreover, Bell usually took good care of Iri, being meticulous during their time in Theocracy, though there was indeed suspicion of her currying favor and using Iri.

But for her to bring down a country alone… that's basically a fool's dream. She should understand this. So, after knowing the true situation, using Iri could be considered excusable, right?

Uh… thinking about it this way.

Iri sighed, then pulled her hand out of the spatial bag. What Iri held was not a teleportation scroll, but a resurrection short staff.

As Bell gradually regained consciousness, she found herself leaning weakly against the wall of a dead-end alley. She tried to stand but couldn't muster any strength.

Completely bewildered by what had just happened, Bell was confused. She remembered being by a field of flowers, didn't she?

Then she saw her sister waving at her from across the river by the flower field. But hadn't her sister already been killed by Theocracy?

How could she see her sister? It must be a dream… it must be a dream…

But, was that dream really so vivid? And how did she end up sleeping against the alley wall?

Bell, still confused, looked up and saw Clementine looking at her with ill intent, and immediately sobered up.

That's right! The reason she was here was because Clementine had tricked her, wasn't it? And then she was frozen by Clementine's ice magic.

After that, she lost consciousness. Seeing that she was still alive and well, Bell let out a huge sigh of relief. She had almost been killed by Clementine.

"How was your trip to hell just now? Did you see your sister?" Clementine, who was watching her with schadenfreude, asked.

"I saw… I saw… my sister… waving at me," Bell replied, noticing Clementine's crimson True Magic Eye still glaring at her. How dared she lie? She was afraid she'd be frozen half to death again!

"Is that so? It seems I should have revived you later, to let you have a good reunion with your sister," Iri said with a smile.

Bell was instantly dumbfounded. Revive? Did Clementine just say revive? She had really died just now! So, the flower field and her sister she saw earlier weren't a dream!

"No… no… I…" Although Bell was revived, she remembered that resurrection magic came at the cost of reducing one's life force. Was her life force enough for one revival?

She remembered hearing that if resurrection magic was used on someone with weak life force, even the body would turn to dust!

"Just revived and not recovered yet, can't even speak properly? Honestly." Clementine complained, then another golden light enveloped Bell. All the previous weakness and discomfort immediately disappeared.

This was the skill Clementine used to heal the Black Scripture after she fought six of them, wasn't it? She heard this skill was very advanced! And it was faith-based magic. Shouldn't Clementine be an elemental Magic Caster?

"Why are you still sitting there? Is the floor really that cool?" Iri looked at the bewildered Bell, intending to scare her again.
