Chapter 451 - A Gentle Healer, A Sharper Heart!

"Clarissa, let's go." After handing over the flowers and exchanging a few light words, Ash led Clarissa toward his private consultation room.

Having just finished his training session at the Viridian Gym, and after reminding Gary and Green at the Pokémon Center entrance not to draw attention to his patent idea, it was already nearing 3:30 PM. Ash still had to begin his online clinic consultations.

"Okay, Ash…" Clarissa replied softly, her cheeks flushed as she cradled the bouquet of roses in her arms and followed behind him.

Hearing the way she addressed him, Ash didn't show much outward reaction, but a faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Sure enough, compared to before—when he restrained his feelings and kept a careful distance—this felt far more natural and at ease.

Without wasting time, Ash quickly changed into sterile attire and entered the treatment room. He set up the portable Poké Ball transfer machine and placed his laptop—possessed by Rotom—on the desk.

Following his instructions, Clarissa set up a phone stand aimed at the treatment table. She opened Ash's social media page and started a livestream.

Yesterday's session had been broadcast through Viridian TV, but today, without their crew, Ash had to rely on his own phone. Although the exposure wouldn't match television, livestreaming directly allowed for more precise fan growth and engagement.

"Clarissa, are you ready?" Having already completed one session yesterday, Ash now carried himself with far more confidence and familiarity.

"Ready," she replied.

"Alright, then let's begin. Rotom, notify all Pokémon Centers—it's time to start calling numbers."

Everything was prepared. Ash officially began his clinic session.

"OK—Rotom!!" On the laptop screen, Rotom nodded and rapidly transmitted signals, notifying Pokémon Centers across Kanto.

In fact, appointment booking had already opened at noon.

After reviewing yesterday's workflow, Ash made a key adjustment: instead of requiring trainers to physically visit Pokémon Centers just to queue, they could now book directly through his online store. Once they received an initial diagnosis from a Nurse Joy, they would wait for Ash's call before sending their Pokémon via transfer.

This reduced unnecessary trips for trainers and eased some workload from the Pokémon Centers—though much of that work had simply shifted onto Ash himself.

"Whirr—"

As the livestream began and numbers were called, the transfer machine immediately activated. A Poké Ball arrived.

"Pop—"

Clarissa efficiently released the Pokémon onto the treatment table.

It was a Meowth, its wrist clumsily wrapped in bandages, its face pale with pain.

"Scan its data and copy its skills." With experience now under his belt, Ash calmly issued the command.

[Pokémon: Meowth]

Level: LV.25

Type: Normal

Nature: Hardworking

Ability: Pickup

Potential: Green

Moves (copyable):

Proficient: Fake Out, Feint, Scratch, Assurance

Skilled: Growl, Pay Day, Bite, Taunt

Novice: Fury Swipes

"Skill copying…"

Even though trainers raising Meowth were rare in the anime, reality was different. Many trainers did raise Meowth. Though Persian's base stats weren't extraordinary, with proper training it could still be formidable.

This Meowth, in particular, had a solid move pool.

"The preliminary diagnosis says its wrist was fractured during training," Clarissa explained. "Its trainer pushed too hard while practicing Fury Swipes and didn't control the intensity."

"Got it," Ash replied simply, offering no judgment.

He activated his Aura, scanning the injured wrist like an X-ray. Then, using Healing Grace from his Viridian Blessing, he began treatment while gently resetting the bone with his hands.

The process was smooth.

Meowth had been bracing for pain—but instead, it felt nothing at all.

"All done. Your wrist is set." Ash gently patted its head. "Next time, don't push yourself too hard. If you're exhausted, tell your trainer."

Feeling the soothing warmth of Ash's aura, Meowth rubbed its head affectionately against his hand.

"Alright, I'll send you back now."

"Meow~"

Ash recalled it into its Poké Ball and handed it to Clarissa for transfer. Then he turned to Rotom.

"Rotom, include a note in the report. Tell the trainer to be careful. Injuries like this take time to heal. Even if treated, they can leave lasting damage—and that could ruin a Pokémon's future."

Ash's tone was gentle toward Pokémon, but noticeably sharper toward careless trainers.

"Got it—Rotom!!"

As Meowth was sent back, Clarissa released the next Pokémon for treatment.

And just like that, the clinic session continued.
