"Knock, knock."
Klein continued pondering, unconsciously tapping the tabletop with his fingers.
Though the sound was light, it seemed to echo heavily in Cattleya's heart.
Everyone waited quietly.
"How about this."
He chuckled softly.
"Since The Hermit has seen your traits so clearly, it's only fair that you all get a look at her as well."
With that, he raised his hand and pointed.
"Whoosh!"
The gray fog shrouding The Hermit Cattleya instantly dissipated considerably.
Her originally blurred figure became clear in an instant. Everyone saw that this new member wore a classical robe embroidered with many mysterious symbols.
While not quite enough to completely identify her face, the basic features of her countenance could now be determined.
A heavy pressure descended upon Cattleya. Unable to move, she could only watch helplessly as everyone's gazes scrutinized her.
"That outfit, those eyes, there's no mistaking it. She must be the 'Admiral of Stars.'!"
The Hanged Man Alger confirmed her identity, and the sense of crisis in his heart diminished somewhat.
The others also took this opportunity to examine The Hermit closely.
That face... I feel like I've seen it on a wanted poster, Silas thought.
"Let's leave it at this for now. Don't let there be a next time."
Klein released the fog and spoke indifferently.
Since The Hermit was attending the Tarot Club for the first time, a slight warning to help her remember the lesson was sufficient.
If he actually did something to her, it would instead make him, The Fool, appear lacking in judgment, which wouldn't help maintain his mystique.
"Yes."
Cattleya let out a breath.
After this, Klein had her materialize a pair of glasses and added restrictions to the eyewear to ensure such incidents wouldn't happen again in the future.
"We can begin now."
His gaze swept over everyone, forcibly ending this topic and allowing the Tarot Club to proceed to the next item: the reading time for Roselle's diary.
This time, the ones offering diary pages were both Justice Audrey and The Magician Fors.
Setting aside how The Hermit Cattleya, who had just relaxed, was once again shocked by the fact that Mr. Fool knew those were diary entries and could even read them, the information in the diary itself was also extremely rich.
Of the four pages, the first two were Roselle the Great's self-reflection after falling into his sage time period, which wasn't particularly useful.
The latter two recorded many high-value things, including Zaratul's quest for Antigonus's notes, as well as Roselle's observations at the Twilight Hermit Order gathering.
As he read, Klein's heart stirred.
The Twilight Hermit Order was hostile to the Fourth Epoch's Solomon Empire simply because its ally was the True Creator.
The reason seemed related to the phrase "omniscience and omnipotence."
Indeed, if the apex of the Shepherd pathway, the "True Creator," could shepherd the gods corresponding to the other twenty-one Beyonder pathways, then from a certain perspective, He would be equivalent to an omniscient and omnipotent Creator.
Within the sequence pathways, perhaps even deeper secrets lay hidden.
If one day Silas truly replaced the True Creator and existed in a more rational manner, shepherding other true gods, he might actually become a new Creator...
Thinking of this, Klein almost couldn't help but glance in the direction of Temperance Silas.
"You may begin."
However, he ultimately suppressed the waves in his heart and spoke to everyone.
The exchange segment officially began.
"Everyone."
Completely unaware of how far others' imaginations had run, Silas spoke first.
He looked around at everyone, finally settling his gaze on The Hanged Man.
"I'm planning to sell off some things. Who's interested?"
"More new items?"
The Hanged Man Alger perked up. "Characteristics or items?"
"Neither."
Silas shook his head. "Some high-value goods."
"High-value goods?"
"Yes."
Under everyone's gradually stunned gazes, Silas began to list them.
"Jewelry, promissory notes, bearer certificates of deposit in large denominations, and high-value artworks, two full boxes in total."
For pirates, fencing stolen goods was as important as the raid itself.
After plundering the residences of the island affairs officer and Mr. Gluttony, keeping these items in the captain's cabin indefinitely wasn't practical. It was better to convert them into cash.
Oh right, he had just raided Toscarter Island…
The Hanged Man, Alger, took a deep breath, unsure whether to feel envy or fear.
"These things are too conspicuous. I can't help you dispose of them."
Two whole boxes of valuables weren't like Beyonder items or characteristics that could be easily concealed. Being at sea made selling them risky, too, the authorities could easily trace fenced goods back to someone.
Silas naturally turned to Justice.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Temperance. I can't help you dispose of them either."
Audrey shook her head as well.
As for the nervous Magician Fors and the bewildered Sun Derrick, there was even less reason to mention them.
"I can help you dispose of part of it."
The Moon Emlyn spoke, proudly straightening his chest.
"We Sanguine never lack money, and we also have refined taste in jewelry and artwork.
Of course, you'll need to pay me a commission fee... um, 200 pounds total should do."
"Acceptable."
Silas nodded.
Having multiple channels was good; there would always be someone who could provide a solution.
"I can take the rest."
At this moment, The Hermit Cattleya also spoke up.
"I have connections to sell them, but it'll be thirty percent below normal market price."
Having just encountered an identity crisis upon entering the Tarot Club, she felt she needed to demonstrate her value to gain more recognition.
As for the connections she mentioned, they were naturally the fencing channels belonging to her pirate crew.
"Commission?"
"Not this time. Consider it my apology for my earlier reckless behavior."
Through the glasses personally sealed by The Fool, The Hermit Cattleya's eyes moved slightly.
"Alright, I accept."
Silas nodded noncommittally.
After a brief pause, he continued speaking to everyone.
"Everyone, please keep an eye out for powerful Beyonder items for me. Price isn't an issue."
After advancing to Sequence 4, his strength had greatly increased.
Aside from the mutated "Agony," the other two Beyonder items had become somewhat inadequate.
It was time to seek more powerful Beyonder items.
As for the "Revolver of Luck" and Heras's glove, along with the lamb characteristic that had been replaced, he temporarily kept them all as inventory.
Cash was abundant now anyway, and he could always sell them later when he really needed money.
"Specifically, what level of power are we talking about?"
The Magician Fors asked quietly.
"Demigod level, I suppose."
Silas said casually, prompting silence from everyone.
"I think the rest of us won't have opportunities to encounter items of this caliber for the time being."
The Hanged Man said sincerely.
"It's fine. Just keep an eye out for me."
Silas didn't necessarily have to find them through these people, but again, having multiple channels was always beneficial.
His greater hope was to obtain such items from the "Queen Mystic."
