Many may not know this but the king, the father of Caelum and Cael, was actually a wise, kind and merciful ruler. He was a man who based his decisions on facts and the benefits they would bring to the kingdom yet he never forgot the people affected by those decisions.
To him, ruling was not merely about wealth, power, or politics. It was about ensuring that the people of Elarion could live peaceful and prosperous lives.
There were very few things in the kingdom that the king could not accomplish.
Years ago, Elarion had once stood at the edge of bankruptcy and poverty. The kingdom's resources were dwindling and many feared that difficult times would soon befall the people. Rather than placing the burden upon his citizens, the king sought another path.
