FANTASY GAME

CHAPTER 1: THE GAME PEOPLE CAN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT

A boy named Nixon Ballot was playing a video game called Fantasy Game.

It was the most popular role-playing game in the world. Millions of people played it every day because of its massive fantasy world, powerful monsters, magical abilities, legendary warriors, and supernatural creatures.

In this game, players could learn magic, fight monsters, explore dungeons, complete quests, and gradually become stronger.

Some players could control fire and lightning, while others could summon mythical creatures or wield powerful swords.

The possibilities were endless.

However, Nixon was just an ordinary guy who enjoyed playing video games.

One day, while playing Fantasy Game, he encountered a goblin.

"Come on! Just one more hit!" Nixon shouted.

His character attacked the goblin, but the creature dodged and struck him back.

His health dropped to three percent.

"What?! No, no, no! I'm not losing to another goblin!"

Unfortunately, the goblin attacked again.

YOU HAVE DIED.

Nixon stared at his screen in disbelief.

"Three hours! I've been playing for three hours, and I still can't defeat a goblin!"

He sighed and prepared to close the game.

But suddenly, his screen went black.

"Huh? What happened?"

Before he could investigate, a strange blue light emerged from his monitor.

"What the heck?"

The light grew brighter, and a mysterious force pulled him toward the screen.

"WAIT! WAIT! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"

Before Nixon could do anything, the light swallowed him completely.

Everything went dark.

A few moments later, he fell to the ground.

"Ouch! My back!"

Nixon slowly opened his eyes and looked around.

He was surrounded by enormous trees, strange glowing plants, and unfamiliar mountains floating in the sky. In the distance, he could see a massive castle standing on top of a mountain.

He immediately stood up.

"What is this place?"

He looked around in confusion before suddenly recognizing the environment.

"No way!"

His eyes widened.

"This is Fantasy Game!"

He couldn't believe it. The world he had spent hundreds of hours exploring on his computer was now surrounding him.

The grass beneath his feet felt real. The wind blew against his face, and he could hear strange creatures roaring somewhere in the forest.

Nixon swallowed nervously.

"Wait a minute. If I'm inside the game, does that mean I have magical powers?"

Suddenly, a blue screen appeared in front of him.

DING!

A status window appeared.

Name: Nixon Ballot.

Level: 1.

Class: Unassigned.

Health: 100 out of 100.

Mana: 50 out of 50.

Strength: 5.

Defense: 5.

Agility: 5.

Intelligence: 5.

Special abilities: None.

Nixon stared at the screen.

"Level one? You've got to be kidding me!"

He quickly checked the other options.

"Inventory!"

A new window appeared, but his inventory was completely empty.

"Equipment!"

Nothing.

"Skills!"

The screen changed again.

Available skills included Lightning Bolt and Mystic Armor.

Nixon's eyes widened.

"Wait a minute. I can learn magic?"

He selected Lightning Bolt.

A description appeared, explaining that it was a basic offensive spell capable of producing a small bolt of magical lightning.

Next, he selected Mystic Armor, a defensive spell that created a layer of magical energy around his entire body to protect him from physical and magical attacks.

Nixon immediately learned both skills.

"All right! At least I have something to work with!"

But then he looked at his status again.

He was still level one, with no weapons, no armor, and no special abilities.

He sighed.

"Of course. I get transported into a fantasy world, and I'm still a beginner."

Nevertheless, Nixon understood how role-playing games worked. If he wanted to become stronger, he would have to fight monsters, complete quests, collect experience points, and level up.

He closed his status window and began searching for a path out of the forest.

Suddenly, he heard something moving behind him.

He turned around.

A green creature emerged from between the trees. It had pointed ears, yellow eyes, and a wooden club in its hand.

Nixon immediately recognized it.

It was a goblin.

A red warning appeared in front of him.

Monster detected: Forest Goblin.

Level: 3.

Threat level: Higher than the player's current level.

Nixon's face went pale.

"Level three? Why is it level three?"

The goblin growled and charged toward him.

"Wait! Calm down! We can talk about this!"

The goblin swung its club.

Nixon quickly activated Mystic Armor, and a blue layer of magical energy covered his entire body.

The goblin struck him, sending him stumbling backward.

His health dropped from one hundred to eighty-seven.

Nixon stared at the screen.

"It actually works!"

But the goblin wasn't finished.

It prepared to attack again.

"All right! Let's try Lightning Bolt!"

Nixon raised his hand, and blue sparks began gathering around his fingers.

Suddenly, a small bolt of lightning shot from his hand and struck the goblin.

The creature stumbled backward.

Damage dealt: 18.

Goblin health: 22 out of 40.

Nixon smiled.

"Yes! I actually hit it!"

Unfortunately, the goblin was still alive and angry.

It charged at him again.

Nixon desperately dodged, nearly falling over in the process.

"Why is this thing so fast?!"

He raised his hand again.

"Lightning Bolt!"

Another bolt of lightning struck the goblin, knocking it to the ground.

The creature disappeared in a flash of green light.

For a few seconds, Nixon stood completely still.

Then a notification appeared.

Monster defeated.

Experience gained: 25 points.

Current experience: 25 out of 100.

Nixon couldn't believe it.

"I actually defeated a monster!"

He checked his status window again.

Although he was still level one, he had gained experience points.

This meant he could eventually level up and become stronger.

Nixon clenched his fists.

"All right. If this world works like the game, then I need to keep grinding."

He looked toward the distant castle.

There were probably thousands of monsters in this world, along with dungeons, treasures, powerful warriors, and terrifying creatures.

If he wanted to survive, he would have to improve his skills and learn how to fight properly.

After all, he was an ordinary boy trapped in a world filled with magic and supernatural horrors.

He had no legendary bloodline, no powerful weapon, and no special ability that made him unique.

All he had was a status window, two basic spells, and his knowledge of the game.

But that was enough to begin.

Nixon took a deep breath and started walking toward the forest path.

"All right, Fantasy Game. You want me to grind? Then let's grind!"

However, far away, beyond the floating mountains, something mysterious happened.

A strange notification appeared before an unknown entity.

Anomalous player detected.

Identity: Nixon Ballot.

Origin: Unknown.

System compatibility: Unconfirmed.

A final message appeared.

Observation initiated.

And that was how Nixon Ballot's adventure in Fantasy Game began.
