Returning to her apartment building, Vivian Sinclair was about to press for the elevator when she bumped into Rhiannon Campbell.
Seeing her, Rhiannon's lips curled up slightly.
"We meet again, little assistant."
Vivian forced a smile.
"Dr. Campbell."
She looked down at her phone, avoiding eye contact with Rhiannon.
Rhiannon raised her hand to press the elevator button.
When the doors opened, her gaze swept over Vivian from head to toe.
"Have you been crying?"
Vivian was momentarily stunned, her tone indifferent.
"Just the wind."
"Oh? That's better."
Rhiannon said as the elevator doors opened, and she walked straight in.
Vivian didn't want to share the elevator with her, but couldn't avoid it, so she reluctantly followed.
She stood in the corner, trying to minimize her presence.
