Chapter 220 - Chapter 220: The Verdant Overgrowth and the Beast-Gods

The second world in the Ark's journey was the polar opposite of the first. Sylvaris was a planet of such intense biological vitality that its green canopy reached into the upper atmosphere. From space, it looked like a tangled emerald jewel. However, its spiritual signature was not flat—it was screaming.

"The Reishi here is aggressive," Yhwach noted, his eyes scanning the planet's surface from the bridge. "It is a world of constant, violent consumption. The life force is so high that it has become a cancer. The souls here are trapped in a cycle of endless mutation."

Auguro led a vanguard consisting of Zaraki Kenpachi and Yoruichi Shihōin to the surface. The moment they stepped out, the very ground tried to eat them. Carnivorous vines the size of skyscrapers lashed out, and the air was filled with spores that attempted to hijack the nervous systems of the living.

"Now this is more like it!" Kenpachi roared, his eye-patch discarded. He swung his massive, notched blade, cleaving through a kilometer of jungle with a single shockwave. "A world that fights back!"

The rulers of this world were not humans or machines, but "Beast-Gods"—massive chimeras of flesh and spirit that had reached a level of power comparable to the Yonko of Earth. They viewed the arrival of the Ark as a challenge to their dominance.

A gargantuan wolf-like creature, its fur made of serrated leaves and its eyes burning with green fire, lunged at the group. It was the Alpha of Sylvaris, a being that had consumed millions of lesser souls to sustain its immortality.

Yoruichi moved like a blur of black lightning, using Shunkō to strike the beast's pressure points, but the creature's regenerative powers were instantaneous. "It's no use," she shouted. "Its soul is fused with the planet's ley lines! It's drawing energy from the entire ecosystem!"

Auguro stepped forward, raising The Origin. He realized that Sylvaris was a world where "Life" had won too completely, leaving no room for "Death" to balance the scales. The souls were stuck, unable to move to the next stage of existence.

"You have overstayed your season," Auguro whispered to the planet.

He released a Bankai that he had never used on Earth—The Eternal Autumn.

The vibrant green of the world began to turn to gold, then brown. The hyper-active regeneration of the Beast-Gods slowed as Auguro introduced the "Concept of Decay" to the planet. The Alpha shriveled, its massive spirit finally detaching from the physical world and entering the Soul Society's cycle.

[System Notification!]

[Equilibrium Restored.]

[Sylvaris has been integrated into the 'Green Division' of the Spirit Empire.]

As the Ark left Sylvaris, the planet was no longer a screaming jungle. It was a peaceful forest, where life and death once again moved in harmony. Auguro looked at the stars, realizing that his journey was nearing its ultimate conclusion.

After decades of traveling through the "Sea of Stars," the Ark of Souls had visited a thousand worlds. Some were purified of darkness, others were saved from extinction, and many were simply brought into the light of the Spirit Empire's law. Sith Auguro had become a legend whispered across galaxies—the "Golden King" who brought order to the chaos of the void.

But the System had one final prompt for its host.

[System Notification!]

[Achievement Points: 1,000,000,000.]

[Final Quest: The Ascension to the Throne of the Universe.]

[Requirement: Merge the System with the Fabric of Reality.]

The Ark reached the center of the universe, a place where all dimensions converged. It was a realm of pure white light, devoid of matter or time. This was the "Origin of the Soul," the source from which the first Soul King had emerged.

Auguro stepped out of the ship alone. His Captains—Yamamoto, Aizen, Urahara, and the others—stood at the airlock, bowing their heads. They knew this was a path they could not follow.

"You have served the Order well," Auguro said, his voice now a chorus of billions of souls he had saved. "You are the guardians of the past. I must become the guardian of the future."

As Auguro entered the white void, the Supreme Divine Realm System began to dissolve. The blue screens, the notifications, and the achievement points—all the "game" elements he had lived with for a century—were stripped away. They were merely the training wheels for his divinity.

He felt his consciousness expanding. He saw Earth, Wano, Aethelgard, and Sylvaris. He saw every life he had touched and every death he had overseen. He realized that the "Soul Society" was not a place, and the "Spirit King" was not a ruler.

It was a Balance.

He understood the final truth: For the universe to exist, there must be a consciousness that observes the transition between existence and non-existence. He accepted the burden.

Sith Auguro vanished from the physical world. He did not die; he became the Universal Law.

Back on Earth, the residents of the unified world looked up at the sky. For a moment, every star in the heavens glowed with a soft, golden light. A sense of peace, profound and unshakable, washed over every living being. They knew, instinctively, that they were being watched over.

The Gotei 13, led by the immortal Yamamoto, continued to govern the worlds. Aizen continued his research into the nature of the transcendental. Luffy continued to tell stories of the "King who touched the Stars."

But the King himself was now everywhere and nowhere. He was the wind on Papaloko Island, the heat of a distant sun, and the quiet whisper in the soul of a dying man. The "One Piece" was finally complete—the universe was "One Piece" of a singular, divine Order.
