Chapter 202 - Chapter 202: The Ash of the World and the Rebirth of Kings

The air didn't just become hot; it became absolute. As Yamamoto released the seal on his Bankai, the moisture in the surrounding miles of ocean was instantly vaporized, creating a salt-crusted desert where the sea had been just moments ago.

Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, a man made of magma, felt something he hadn't experienced since his childhood: he was shivering. But it wasn't from cold. It was the primal fear of a candle realizing it was standing next to the sun.

"This... this isn't fire," Sakazuki gasped, his throat cracking as the very air he breathed scorched his lungs. "What have you done to the atmosphere?!"

Yamamoto didn't answer. He stepped forward. He didn't use Shunpo; he simply walked. Every time his foot touched the dried seabed, the ground turned to glass.

"Zanka no Tachi, West: Zanjitsu Gokui (Prison Garb of the Remaining Sun)."

An invisible cloak of heat, reaching temperatures of fifteen million degrees, enveloped the Old Man. As he neared the Marine flagship, the massive steel hull didn't just melt—it sublimated directly into gas. Marines by the hundreds didn't even have time to scream; they vanished into motes of light as their physical forms were erased.

"Kizaru! Aramaki! Do something!" Sakazuki roared, launching a desperate Great Eruption.

Kizaru materialized above, his face contorted. "Yasakani no Magatama!" he cried, raining down thousands of light beams.

The light beams hit the aura around Yamamoto and simply... ceased to exist. They were swallowed by the heat. Aramaki's wooden vines turned to ash before they could even manifest.

Yamamoto raised his blackened blade. "South: Kaka Jūrokushi Kakujin (Fire Burial Army of 1.2 Trillion Dead)."

He tapped the ground. The earth split open, and thousands of charred, skeletal figures—the souls of those Yamamoto had slain over two millennia—rose from the depths. They swarmed the Marine ships, dragging the survivors into the searing abyss.

"I am the justice you claim to represent," Yamamoto whispered. "The justice that burns away the rot so the world may begin again."

With a final swing, the Marine vanguard was silenced. Sakazuki was sent flying back toward the Red Line, his magma body solidified into brittle stone by the sheer intensity of the heat.

While the ocean burned, the sky bled.

Kaido, in his Hybrid form, was a whirlwind of destruction. His club, Hachi-cha, collided with Kenpachi's notched blade for the hundredth time. The sky was a lattice of black lightning and golden Reiatsu.

"You're amazing, Lizard!" Kenpachi laughed, blood streaming from a dozen gashes on his chest. "I haven't felt my heart beat like this in decades!"

"Shut up!" Kaido roared, his Conqueror's Haki flaring to its limit. "Gundari: Ryuseigun!"

He unleashed a barrage of strikes, each one capable of shattering an island. Kenpachi took them all. He didn't dodge. He used his body to stabilize his momentum, and then, with a manic grin, he grabbed Kaido's dragon-horn with his bare hand.

"My turn," Kenpachi said. "Ryōdan (Bisection)."

He gripped his sword with both hands. The spiritual pressure around him solidified into the shape of a colossal, yellow-eyed demon. The blade came down with the weight of a falling moon.

Kaido raised his club to block, but for the first time in his life, the "Strongest Creature" felt his weapon snap. The blade sliced through the Haki-reinforced steel, through Kaido's shoulder, and deep into his chest.

Kaido fell. The flying island of Onigashima tilted as its master crashed onto the dome of the Seireitei, his blood painting the golden barrier red.

"Get up!" Kenpachi shouted, standing over him. "We're just getting started!"

III. The Puppet Mastery: The Seraphim Battle

In the streets of Dressrosa, the battle of the "Dolls" had reached a fever pitch.

Byakuya Kuchiki moved through the air like a ghost, his Senkei swords dancing around S-Hawk. The Mihawk-clone was incredibly fast, its "Green Blood" allowing it to mimic the world's greatest swordsman perfectly. But it lacked one thing: the soul of a warrior.

"Your movements are precise, yet hollow," Byakuya remarked, his petals shredding the Seraphim's wings. "Hado #33: Sōren Sōatsui!"

A twin burst of blue flame knocked the machine back.

Meanwhile, the fourth Seraphim, S-Reio, had finally completed its "Soul Imitation." It stood before the Royal Palace, its eyes glowing with a simulated version of Auguro's power. It pointed its replica blade at the palace.

"Bankai..." the machine droned.

"Don't you dare say that word," a cold voice interrupted.

Sith Auguro stepped out of the palace doors. He looked at the machine that shared his face. "You are a collection of data and Lunarian cells. You cannot mimic the King of Souls."

Auguro reached out. His "Origin" blade hummed. "All-Cutter: Rebirth."

He didn't swing. He simply willed the space around the Seraphim to collapse. Because the System recognized Auguro as the "True Host," the replica's power was instantly overwritten. The S-Reio Seraphim froze, its internal gears melting as the "Origin" absorbed its Lunarian combat data.

"Ding! S-Reio neutralized! Lunarian Essence acquired!"

"System Update: The 'Soul Society' is now 75% integrated into the world of One Piece!"

Just as the Empire seemed to have the upper hand, a shadow larger than the palace fell over the island.

Big Mom, riding on Zeus and Prometheus, had bypassed the chaos of the fleet. She landed in the middle of the city, her face twisted in a hunger pang that shook the very foundations of Dressrosa.

"AUGUROOOOOO!" she screamed, her Conqueror's Haki knocking out the remaining Revolutionary Army soldiers. "GIVE ME THE SECRETS OF THE SOUL! GIVE ME THE SEIREITEI! WEDDING CAKEEEEEE!"

Beside her, the "New Doflamingo"—the Arrancar Grimmjow-Doflamingo—stepped out of the shadows. He looked at his former ally with a mocking grin.

"Hey, Mama," the Arrancar said, his voice a hollow rasp. "You're looking a bit hungry. How about I feed you some despair?"

Auguro stood at the top of the stairs, looking down at the Yonko and his new Espada. He checked his Achievement Points.

"Current Points: 12,000,000!"

"System," Auguro whispered. "It's time. Unlock the Zero Division: Squad Zero."

"Acknowledged. Spending 10,000,000 points. Summoning the 'Monk who Calls the Real Name'..."

The sky over Dressrosa didn't turn pink or gold. It turned pitch black, like ink spilled over a canvas. A massive, floating platform descended from the heavens, and a booming, jovial laugh echoed through the world.

"Ohohoho! It seems I've arrived just in time for the calligraphy lesson!"
