Lulu palmed her own face like she was trying to physically push the situation back out through her skull.
"Lulu?" Lexel asked, glancing around with the mild curiosity of a man browsing a bookstore, not a man who'd just been yanked sideways through reality.
"Give me a second," she said, voice muffled behind her hand.
"Do you know where this is?"
A long exhale escaped through her fingers. "It might be Flinn's summon."
Summon for what hung in Lexel's head, unspoken but loud. He hadn't torn up a piece of paper expecting consequences with this much gravity behind them. Mild chaos, sure. A minor scolding, maybe. Not this.
