I will find the fool that thought I killed his sister. I can't believe that he almost killed me. I will make sure I finish this, he should have gotten his facts right.
"Are you okay, Mona?" Alice asked as she sat beside me.
"Why are you here?" I said coldly. She was only nice when she needed something.
"I came to see if you were okay."
"Why?"
"Well, I saw the bruises on your neck. I know something happened. Did something bad happen between you and your man?"
"Mind your business. It's none of your business. You haven't been able to bag your one man, I'm guessing."
"Why are you mocking me?"
"I'm being real. Theo seems to not be interested in anything serious with you. He just wants to play around with you."
"Leave me alone. I don't really care, I know that he would want me. It's just a matter of time."
"Whatever. You can go now. I don't like you in my business."
