Stellan Sutton had a long and terrifying dream.
In the dream, he saw Eve Sherman return, but she came back with divorce papers.
Her eyes were as cold as a lake in winter, and she told him they would never meet again. She even terminated the pregnancy.
She told him never to look for her again.
Stellan awoke abruptly, meeting Lucas's worried gaze.
"President Sutton, you're finally awake."
Lucas quickly came over, "How are you feeling? I'll call the doctor right now, just wait here."
Lucas ran out of the ward to bring Ethan Cameron in.
Ethan saw Stellan sit up and pushed him back down, "You better stay lying down. Don't exhaust yourself before you've sorted everything out."
Stellan sighed, "Any news on Eve Sherman?"
Lucas looked troubled, "We haven't found her yet, President Sutton. But we can confirm she hasn't gone abroad; she's likely still nearby, so don't worry too much. Your health is important too. Once you're better, she'll naturally come back."
