Eve Sherman had just finished processing her visa and was leaving the police station.
Her phone started ringing.
She glanced at the caller ID, her brows furrowing slightly.
Why would Autumn Ellison call her?
Was it to tell her those things again?
It seemed unnecessary.
If she answered the call and said something that upset Autumn Ellison, it wouldn't be good for her health.
Thinking this way, Eve Sherman decided to let the phone ring without planning on answering.
Autumn Ellison's call only lasted twenty seconds before hanging up.
It seemed she indeed didn't have the patience to waste time on Eve Sherman.
Eve Sherman mocked herself with a smile, shook her head, and prepared to go home.
Today she had used the excuse of seeing Wendy, otherwise, Cecilia Morgan would definitely have stuck by her side.
Thinking of this, she sighed, hailed a cab, and prepared to head back.
"That Eve Sherman, actually not answering the phone."
Autumn Ellison impatiently threw down the phone.
