"I can't judge. You're cooking for your daughter-in-law; she should be the one to judge."
"True, this is the first time she's trying my cooking, so I have to put on a good show. Luckily, we planted various vegetables in the garden before you came, otherwise, with the limited produce here, you'd probably be eating burgers."
Eve Sherman listened from upstairs for a while before coming down.
As soon as Stellan Sutton saw her on the stairs, he quickly came over to help her.
"I can still walk, you know."
Eve muttered softly.
Stellan's expression froze for a moment, then he explained, "I'm just worried you might not be used to things here and might accidentally trip."
"Stellan is just concerned about you. While you were still in bed, he came upstairs to check on you every three minutes. Who would've thought my son, who never dated, would become such a hopeless romantic once he did."
