Eve Sherman pursed her lips, "You just said you were in a rush."
"Inside is the deleted footage of the incident's location. It was, of course, deleted by Dexter Shaw and his people. The contents are enough to prove your father's innocence."
Eve Sherman looked at her quietly, "Don't tell me you gave this to me just so the real culprit can't turn the tables?"
"So what if I did? I'm giving you something so important; shouldn't I get something in return?"
Eve Sherman lowered her eyes and thought for a moment, then smiled.
"Rory Shaw, I've always known you're a venomous snake. I just didn't realize you could be this poisonous. They treat you better than they do their own family."
"Treat me well? Are you me? How do you know they treat me well? They groomed me like a tool! If you hadn't grown up with those useless adoptive parents, being used and then discarded would have been you! Why should I suffer this kind of treatment?"
