"Resignation?"
Lucas frowned, "Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Gigi Thorne blinked at him, "I have other happy things to do. I'm not coming to work tomorrow, don't assign me any work, I'm not doing it."
With that, she tidied her hair right in front of Lucas, picked up her bag, and was about to leave.
"What are you going for, don't you want your severance pay?"
Gigi thought about how much her severance pay was, not a lot, but not too little either, enough to buy two sets of branded clothes.
Thinking of this, she sat back down in her seat.
"When will I be transferred?"
"That was just something I said to scare you earlier, President Sutton hasn't said much, I just wanted to know if you're not working well because Sherman left. Now it seems that's not the case."
Gigi raised an eyebrow at his words.
"Lucas, back when I was at Sterling, you were the only one who saw my worth, I'm very grateful to you. But everyone has their own path to walk, and it seems I can't work with you now."
