Stella was stunned for a few seconds, then chuckled lightly and sat down across from Eve.
"So that's how it is, I see."
Eve was a bit surprised, she hadn't said anything.
If it were in the past, she'd definitely start off with some sarcastic remarks and might even throw her out in anger.
But she just casually drank a glass of iced water, "Are you staying here for a while?"
Eve nodded, "The old man has come to stay."
"Grandpa's here?"
Stella widened her eyes, "Why isn't he in the hospital? I drank too much last night, didn't even notice!"
"You should go see him, he's been up for a while now."
"Then I'll head over first."
Stella turned away as if nothing was amiss and went to find Sutton.
"Grandpa."
Sutton was just about to take a nap but was jolted awake by Stella's loud voice.
"Ah, you're here."
"Grandpa, why didn't you tell anyone you were coming? I should have gotten up early to greet you."
"Hmph." Sutton chuckled lightly, "Just in time. Did you see Sherman?"
