The old man was happy all night, but finally seemed tired, and fell into a deep sleep.
"I'll go back to pack some clothes and tell Wyatt, then I'll come again."
Eve closed the door and whispered to Stellan.
"I'll take you there."
"No need, just stay here and watch over Master Sutton. I'll be back soon."
Eve took a few steps and then turned back, "Give me the car key."
Stellan found the car key and handed it to her, unable to resist reminding, "Drive safely."
Eve nodded, then got into the car on her own.
Back home, Wyatt was chatting with Zoe. Seeing Eve return, he asked puzzledly, "Eve, where did you go? You didn't answer my phone calls and now you're back so late. I cooked the dishes Auntie Morgan brought, but you didn't get to eat. I'll heat them up for you."
"No need."
Eve grabbed him, took a deep breath.
"Since both of you are here, I have something to tell you."
"What's so serious?"
Zoe looked at her eagerly, waiting for her to continue.
