"Two years without seeing you, you've grown mature and steady, much stronger mentally. I remember when you first interned here, you got into arguments with the seniors about doing errands for them."
Eve Sherman said indifferently, her expression neutral.
Gigi Thorne smiled sheepishly, "Wasn't that just because I was fresh out of school and hadn't been hit by the harsh realities of society yet? Now I'm a veteran, of course, I need to be mentally tougher. Hehe, but no matter how hard I try, I can't compare to you, Sister Eve."
At those words, Eve Sherman paused slightly in her towel-drying, then put down the towel and turned to seriously gaze at Gigi Thorne.
Gigi Thorne, puzzled by her stare, asked, "Sister Eve, why are you looking at me like this? Did I say something wrong?"
"No."
Eve Sherman replied calmly, lowering her eyes as she thought, "I've considered it and decided that I should clarify something with you."
