Eve Sherman hadn't been busy for long when Lucas came to call her.
"President Sutton obviously needs you a lot, but he transferred you here. Tsk tsk." Lucas teased with a smile.
Eve Sherman shook her head, "You can't talk like that."
"I've been with him for so many years, do you think I'd talk carelessly?" Lucas said, winking at her, "Do you know who President Sutton is meeting and dining with today?"
"I don't know. President Sutton said it was related to Sterling."
"I see." Lucas gave her a meaningful look, "President Sutton wants to restart Sterling, but he wants to transform it and change its model. It's kept him incredibly busy lately, with overtime every day and social engagements. Honestly, I don't understand why he's suddenly decided to stir this up. In my opinion, Sterling no longer has any advantages."
"Isn't running a company all about making money?"
Lucas posed a soul-searching question, causing Eve Sherman's hand to pause as she packed her things.
