Chapter 3 - ‎Chapter 2 — The First Pulse

‎Silence returned, vast and endless, yet no longer empty.

‎Now, when he sank into meditation, the void did not feel like a prison — but an untouched canvas. A sleeping cosmos waiting for breath.

‎In the stillness, something subtle shifted.

‎A pulse.

‎Not physical. Not energy in any form he could name. It was existence itself awakening under his presence — as if reality had taken notice and wished not to be left behind.

‎His awareness expanded. No eyes, no body, only consciousness woven through nothingness. Layer by layer, the fabric of existence peeled open for him.

‎Space was not smooth. It trembled like water under moonlight, riddled with vibrating threads finer than dust. When he focused, those threads became rivers of particles, flickering in and out of existence faster than thought.

‎They were trying to be something. But they lacked will, purpose, shape.

‎Creation wanted a master.

‎He reached out with intention — not hand, not force, only will.

‎For an instant, the void resisted. Like a creature startled awake, unsure whether to flee or bite. Chaos rippled. Energy collided. Silence fractured into a storm of invisible turbulence.

‎He did not move.

‎He simply existed with clarity, anchoring himself in the sea of unformed cosmos.

‎The turbulence bent.

‎Surrendering.

‎The first law took root — faint, primitive, barely a whisper, yet eternal:

‎Where I gaze, existence stabilizes.

‎Not a technique. Not a cultivation method.

‎A truth.

‎A realm of creation does not begin with power — but acknowledgment from reality.

‎A faint tremor brushed against him.

‎He felt it before he saw it — not light, not shadow, but hunger given shape. A shapeless ripple slithered through the void, attracted by the new pulse of existence he had awakened.

‎It approached softly, curiously.

‎Then it lunged.

‎The thing did not roar or scream. It simply attempted to overwrite him — to dissolve his forming law and feed on the power of becoming reality itself.

‎There was no anger.

‎He did not flinch.

‎Emotion was a human luxury. In this emptiness, only purpose mattered.

‎With a thought, his consciousness folded inward, compressing — shrinking from vast observer to a single microscopic point. Then it expanded outward again like a silent nova, flooding every thread of his visible space.

‎The invading wisp shattered.

‎No sound. No light. It simply ceased to exist, erased so cleanly the void did not notice it had ever lived.

‎He opened his eyes — not needing to, yet instinct commanding form.

‎"So creation draws predators."

‎His voice was quiet, more reflection than speech. The words did not disturb the void; they dissolved into it like they belonged here long before he arrived.

‎A faint vibration answered, far away — the way a sleeping beast shifts when something stirs near its den. Not a threat yet, but aware.

‎Good.

‎Existence should tremble gently first. Panic could wait.

‎He turned inward again, letting his perception sink into the particle threads beneath reality's surface. They pulsed irregularly, chaotic, without law or sequence.

‎He began mapping them.

‎Not forcing, not shaping — only understanding.

‎Once you see the bones of creation, shaping flesh becomes effortless.

‎A single spark ignited deep within his consciousness — the beginning of a foundation, the seed of law:

‎To understand is to rule.

‎But beneath the quiet comprehension, a colder oath flowed like molten iron:

‎If this universe thinks it can feed on me,

‎I will devour it first.

‎He closed his eyes again.

‎Meditation resumed.

‎Creation continued — patient, silent, inevitable.

‎The first pulse of existence had answered him. Soon, it would bow.

‎And in the depths of distant nothingness, something ancient exhaled — curious, cautious, watching.

‎The void would not remain empty for long.
