Chapter 382 - This Place Is Really Too Boring, So I Wanted To Go Out And Take A Look Around Outside

Do they think there are too few problems on the Marine Headquarters' side?

It's just a Warlord, that's all. So what if there isn't one?

Just a single person, not even an Admiral, he can't possibly affect the course of this war.

Why take the risk of releasing him?

Could it be that those guys are planning to stir up more trouble again?

Thinking of this, Sengoku's face shifted between pale and dark, but in the end, he let out a long sigh, slumped back into his chair, took off his frog-shaped glasses, and rubbed the bridge of his nose with a worried expression.

At this point, what else could he, as the Fleet Admiral of the Marine Headquarters, even say?

He could only hope... That no more accidents would happen. Otherwise, the Marine Headquarters would truly become a laughingstock.

Of course, Vegapunk's secret weapon had already been delivered.

Although its appearance… looked nothing like the Pacifista that Vegapunk had described before, its power was quite good.

It could be used as a secret weapon to catch those guys off guard when the time came.

As long as everything went according to what he had envisioned, then this time, it would be a victory for the Marine Headquarters!

After reorganizing his mood, Sengoku's eyes flickered slightly, as if he were thinking about something.

At this moment…

Knock! Knock! Knock!

There were several knocks on the door.

Sengoku raised his head and looked at the anxious-looking marine standing at the doorway. His eyebrows lifted slightly, but he still said calmly: "Come in. What happened?"

"Reporting to Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

Hearing Sengoku's words, the marine did not hesitate and immediately walked in. "The Whitebeard Pirates have already left their controlled sea area!"

"They have already left?"

After hearing that this was the issue, Sengoku felt a slight sense of relief inside, with a trace of a cold smile appearing on his face. "Isn't that perfectly normal? It would be strange if that guy stayed in his own territory the whole time! Have them continue to keep watch. Make sure to firmly grasp the movements of the Whitebeard Pirates."

However, while he was speaking, he seemed to notice the sadness on the marine's face in front of him.

Sengoku immediately frowned, fell silent for a moment, then sighed. "Go on. What unexpected situation occurred?"

"All intelligence agents responsible for monitoring the Whitebeard Pirates have lost contact."

A bitter smile appeared on the marine's face. "We can no longer get in touch with them!"

Sengoku: "..."

As those words fell, Sengoku's pupils shrank. It was as if something inside him was about to burst out in a roar, but in the end, he forcibly suppressed it.

With a gloomy face, he waved his hand and said in a low voice: "You may leave. Have the people below continue searching for the whereabouts of the Whitebeard Pirates. No matter what, you must find them for me!"

"Understood!"

Hearing Sengoku's order, the marine hurriedly saluted, then immediately turned around and went down to arrange the task.

And Sengoku... Only after the marine left did he slump back into his chair again, take off his glasses once more, and rub the bridge of his nose.

After a moment, he put them back on again. Then he leaned his upper body slightly forward, placed both hands on the desk, clasped them in front of his chin, his face dark and filled with an indescribable sense of worry while muttering to himself: "Has an accident... already happened?"

...

"Fufufufufu, yo, why are you back so soon?"

Tsuru: "..."

Looking at Doflamingo, who was lying on the ground with his limbs shackled yet still in a good mood, Tsuru's face was frighteningly cold while staring straight at him.

But facing her indifferent expression, Doflamingo seemed not to care at all. He even smiled as if greeting an old friend and said, "Did you drop something? Do you need me to help you look for it?"

"What exactly did you say to the World Government?"

Tsuru ignored his words, still wearing a cold expression as she said: "To actually make the World Government agree to release a troublesome guy like you?"

"Oh? Was I found out?"

Hearing Tsuru's words, Doflamingo did not try to hide anything.

Instead, the corners of his mouth lifted slightly on both sides, revealing his white teeth. Even though he seemed to be smiling very happily, his expression was especially mocking. "Don't worry, it was just a simple transaction. It's just that this place is really too boring, so I wanted to go out and take a look around outside."

"With you out there, the outside will be even more boring!"

Faced with Doflamingo's explanation, Tsuru clearly did not accept it at all.

A trace of ridicule appeared on her face. "A guy like you only brings even worse trouble to the seas."

"Fufufufu, being praised like that by you is truly an honor for me!"

Doflamingo did not care about Tsuru's sarcasm at all. The same punchable smile remained on his face. "So? It seems the World Government has accepted this troublemaker, me?"

Tsuru: "..."

Those words made Tsuru fall silent, her eyes fixed firmly on Doflamingo.

At this moment, the two stared at each other, an oppressive atmosphere swirling between them.

Neither of them paid any attention to the wailing Teach beside them, just looking at each other like that.

No one knew how much time passed. After a heavy sigh sounded, Tsuru looked at Doflamingo expressionlessly. "I have to say, you win! I hope you pray that you never come back here again! Next time, you won't be this lucky!"

"Who knows?"

"Hannyabal, open the door."

Tsuru did not pay any more attention to irritating Doflamingo and directly said to the vice warden of Impel Down beside her, Hannyabal. "By the way, there's no need to remove the handcuffs immediately. Give the key to me. When we reach the destination, I'll personally unlock them."

"Understood, Vice-Admiral Tsuru."

"What an honor!"

Doflamingo, whose restraints were loosened by Hannyabal, finally sat up, then stood up.

He did not care at all about what Tsuru had just said. Even though his limbs were still shackled, his mood seemed quite good. He grinned at Tsuru and said, "Who would have thought that I'd actually have the Marine Headquarters Great Staff Officer personally unshackle me. Fufufufu."

"I hope you'll still be this happy after you come back here!"
