One side was sticking upward like he'd fought his pillow during the night and lost.

I stared at the dark screen.
Then heard something upstairs.
Footstep.
We both froze.
jay: ...
Keifer: Stay behind me.
He commanded
jay: Yeah, that's definitely not creepy.
Another footsteps.
Closer.
Keifer grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the hallway.
We moved quietly.
One step.
Two.
Three.
Then—
A shadow (S) crossed the hallway.
I barely had time to react.
Keifer pushed me backward.
Keifer: RUN!
I turned—
And someone grabbed me.
jay: KEIFER!
He lunged toward me.
Everything became chaos.
I fought to pull away, shouting his name.
Keifer: JAY!
Then something covered my eyes.
My arms were pinned.
I kicked.
Struggled.
Tried to scream.
But the hallway was spinning around me.
The last thing I heard was Keifer shouting my name.
Then everything went black.
And just like that...
My peaceful morning was over.
