Chapter 299 - Chapter 299 I am wronged

Sebastian's casual words echoed in the Forbidden Forest at night; he stood there calmly, not taking anything before him seriously.

Harry and Ron were completely stunned, their eyes gleaming, thinking Sebastian was incredibly domineering.

Hermione, on the other hand, was full of worry, feeling a bit anxious in her heart. She was afraid these spiders would suddenly ambush them, especially since Sebastian looked so casual and completely unprepared.

Remus, transformed into a Werewolf, let out a long sigh, completely relaxing. Having seen Sebastian's Patronus Charm, he felt completely safe tonight.

Sirius merely sneered, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes as he curled his lip.

That Stinky Swan is still so fond of showing off.

It's truly nauseating!

If I didn't know what kind of person you are, I really would have been fooled by you.

You must have shown your teacher's ID to the Acromantula just now when we weren't paying attention. Otherwise, these Acromantula wouldn't have listened to you.

Now you're just putting on an act, purely to trick children.

However, to Sirius's utter astonishment, the Acromantula present not only had no objection to Sebastian's words but responded enthusiastically.

"Yes, Boss!"

"Don't worry, Boss, the safety of the Forbidden Forest is in our hands."

"Next time there are intruders, we'll catch them and bring them to you again."

"Boss, meat…"

Good heavens!

So the Stinky Swan was the 'Boss' these spiders were talking about.

This guy is truly ambitious; he actually dared to secretly turn the magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest into his private property. How shameless!

This scoundrel must have profited a lot in the past; I must tell Remus to suggest to the Principal to thoroughly check this guy's accounts later.

Although Sirius kept muttering to himself, he also relaxed a lot.

The Acromantula problem was solved; now only the Dementors in the sky remained.

Fortunately, with the Stinky Swan and Snivellus, dealing with the Dementors should be much easier later.

However, when he looked up at the sky, preparing to fight the Dementors, the sight in the sky left him dumbfounded.

The sky was clear; besides a full moon, there was no sign of any Dementors.

What's going on?!

Am I seeing things? Where did all those Dementors go?

Sirius rubbed his eyes in disbelief, looking around, only vaguely seeing the Dementors' backs in the distant sky.

This discovery left him quite disoriented.

Were those really Dementors, Azkaban's Dementors?

Don't they only obey the Ministry of Magic's orders?

Why did these terrifying creatures scatter on their own with just one word from the Stinky Swan?

It's truly un-magic!

Just as Sirius was lost in thought, a familiar voice rang out.

"Well, well, well, today is truly my lucky day; I actually have the chance to personally send the fugitive Black back to Azkaban."

"The taste of revenge is truly wonderful; I have been looking forward to this day."

Snape pointed his wand at Sirius and said through gritted teeth, "Your hairstyle is very unique, very suitable for your mad appearance."

"Snivellus," Sirius retorted immediately, "Try it if you want to fight."

Hearing this insulting title, Harry immediately glared, raising his wand and pointing it at Sirius.

"Don't insult Professor Snape!"

On one side was a fugitive whose suspicions had not been fully cleared, and on the other was the respected Professor Snape; even a fool would know which side to stand on.

Seeing Harry make a move, Ron also unhesitatingly raised his wand and pointed it at Sirius. Hermione hesitated for a moment and then did the same.

Seeing this scene, Remus quickly shielded Sirius: "Harry, don't be impulsive!"

Then, he looked at Snape and said eagerly, "Severus, there's a misunderstanding here; Sirius is innocent."

"Misunderstanding?" Snape's lips twisted into a sarcastic smile, "Let's talk about misunderstandings after we catch him!"

"Do you think I'm afraid of you?" Sirius suddenly darted out from behind Remus, holding his wand and looking at Snape with a crazed expression.

Harry's favoritism towards Snape pushed him to the brink of explosion.

Just as a battle was about to erupt, Sebastian took two steps forward and came to Snape's side.

"Stinky Swan, do you want to gang up on me with Snivellus?" Sirius said fearlessly, "Bring it on!"

"Ganging up…" Sebastian chuckled, "You're terribly weak now, you can't even beat three students, where do you get the confidence to ask us to gang up on you?"

"Your arrogant demeanor is truly annoying; just be honest."

As soon as he finished speaking, Sebastian's wand flicked lightly, and in an instant, Sirius's wand flew out of his hand, while an alchemy chain flew from the side, tightly wrapping around him with lightning speed.

"Stinky Swan," Sirius cursed, "I wasn't ready, you despicable sneak attacker."

Sebastian ignored Sirius's shouting and instead looked around and instructed.

"Harry, Mr. Weasley, Miss Granger, you can put away your wands. The rest will be handled by the Professor."

"Severus, calm down; let's hear Remus explain what the misunderstanding here is."

Hearing Sebastian's words, the three of them, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, obediently stood aside. Snape also put away his wand, looking at the Werewolf before him with disgust.

Remus dared not hesitate and immediately recounted his findings in detail.

After a long while, Sebastian nodded lightly, pointing at the rat in the cage and saying, "You mean Ron's pet Scabbers is Pettigrew?"

"Interesting, let me see what the truth is."

Sebastian took out a key, then used his wand to control it to open Scabbers's cage, releasing Scabbers from the cage.

Scabbers lay motionless on the ground, allowing a spell to hit him.

The rat before them began to transform; its tail disappeared, its limbs continuously stretched and lengthened, and its head grew larger and larger, transforming moments later into a cowering middle-aged man.

This was an extremely short man, about the same height as Harry and Hermione.

His hair was messy, and there was even a bald spot on top, revealing shiny scalp.

His skin was loose and wrinkled, looking like a fat person who had rapidly lost weight in a short period.

His face appeared incredibly dirty, with a pointed nose and round, small eyes that carried a few rat-like features.

Ron stared blankly at this dirty and bald old man, his mind directly going into a state of shutdown.

This was Scabbers's original appearance?

Ugh—

He could no longer bear it, bending over and vomiting again.

Seeing Peter appear, Sirius said bitterly, "Now the facts are very clear; I don't need to explain any further, do I?"

Pettigrew ignored everyone's reactions and instead looked at Sebastian with pitiful eyes.

He understood very clearly that Sebastian was the strongest person here.

Whether he could escape this ordeal today depended on whether he could persuade Sebastian to trust him.

Therefore, he cried out without hesitation, "I'm innocent!"
