Li Yang hadn't fully understood the purpose of the ghost face in his palm when a fierce impact hit his chest.
Suzu rammed into Li Yang like a runaway wild donkey, delivering a heavy headbutt that nearly knocked him over.
Li Yang frowned, looking down at the girl in his arms.
Suzu raised her tear-streaked face:
"I thought... I thought you were done for."
Suzu had predicted that Li Yang would engage in a fierce battle with a mysterious person in the future, a battle whose outcome she couldn't foresee.
Suzu knew Li Yang wouldn't die soon, as the timeline hadn't reached the battle with that mysterious person yet.
But if Li Yang lost his mind, how was that different from being dead?
Li Yang looked at Suzu's small face, his mind drifting.
He seemed to see a little kitten.
After his grandmother passed away, Li Yang was in deep sorrow, uncertain of his future or where he belonged.
