Looking down, he initially thought it was just water, but the liquid under the streetlamp glistened with a dark red hue, strikingly like... coagulated blood.
The night wind whistled past, the ornamental grass on both sides of the road swayed violently, and the sound of leaves rubbing against each other created a rustling noise.
Feng Ju unconsciously tightened his neck and took a deep breath, detecting a faint trace of a fresh, sweet metallic scent.
