Illusion and Dark Crow were silent for a moment, then shifted the topic.
"By the way, you just mentioned encountering a Seventh Level Wizard? What's going on?" Illusion's tone returned to its usual calm, "Weren't the Seventh Level Wizards on the other side always being monitored by us?"
Dark Crow sighed, and the black fluid at his severed limb drooped dispiritedly.
"What I encountered are those who weren't being monitored."
Illusion's gaze suddenly sharpened.
"You mean... those who disappeared since the war began and have been setting up back-end tactics?" His speech quickened, "Wait, I remember your defense zone was in the rear, wasn't it? Could it be..."
Dark Crow nodded, then shook his head.
"Indeed, it's those people," he said, "But I was lucky, only encountered one person. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made it back alive."
"One person..."
Illusion lowered his gaze, his index finger tapped unconsciously on his cuff.
