Chapter 176: Bianca's First Punch
Inside the AMG, Bianca glanced at William's new car but didn't comment.
She still didn't know exactly what he did for a living, but she could tell one thing—he wasn't short on money.
And given her personality, she wasn't the type to pry.
She believed that when the time came, William would tell her himself.
Right now, the two of them were parked not far from Daisy's house.
Bianca looked uneasy.
Clearly, while she wanted to confront Daisy, she hadn't actually thought through what she would do.
In the original timeline, she only acted because she knew her life was running out—so she stopped caring about consequences.
But now?
Her career and relationship both felt stable, even perfect.
William had only just begun to awaken that wilder side of her—
she hadn't fully transformed into that fearless version of herself yet.
---
"Maybe… we should just go back," Bianca said, gripping William's hand, her voice uncertain.
She was backing down.
"We're already here. You sure you want to leave like this?" William murmured, his tone low—like a devil tempting her to take the final step.
"Then… what should I do?" Bianca swallowed.
His words had struck something inside her.
She did want revenge.
But reality, morality, hesitation—they had always held her back.
William didn't give her an answer.
"That's up to you. What do you want to do, Bianca?"
"Fuck it… let's just knock on the door first."
She took a deep breath, unfastened her seatbelt, and stepped out of the car.
---
William smiled faintly and followed.
Soon, the two stood in front of Daisy's house.
---
Ding dong.
Bianca pressed the doorbell.
Almost immediately, she grew restless—clenching and unclenching her fists, shifting her weight, tapping her foot unconsciously.
Her face was filled with tension.
William gave her an encouraging look.
That helped her steady herself—just a little.
Footsteps approached from inside.
The door opened.
"Can I help you?" Daisy looked at Bianca, not recognizing her at all.
"Daisy Carson?" Bianca asked.
In that instant, memories surged back—sharp and vivid.
"I go by Daisy Rigby now," the woman replied casually. "Do I know you?"
It wasn't unusual—many women changed their surname after marriage.
Still, Daisy squinted slightly, trying to place Bianca's face.
At that moment, a little boy in a green T-shirt came up beside her.
"Who is it, Mom?"
---
Seeing the child, Bianca instinctively smiled.
"Hey there~"
Her tone softened as she greeted him.
And then, it clicked for Daisy.
"…Bianca? Is that you?"
Bianca nodded.
"Yeah."
"Oh my God, the last time I saw you was—"
Daisy paused.
Truthfully, back in school, someone like Bianca—quiet, studious—hadn't exactly left a strong impression.
Even now, Daisy was still trying to figure out why she'd shown up.
"Prom," Bianca said calmly.
"Oh—right, prom. Yeah… I remember now."
Daisy put on a polite, accommodating smile.
But behind it, her mind was still racing—
Why is she here?
She had barely interacted with Bianca in the past—so why was she here now?
"You've been doing well, I hope?" Daisy added politely, as if the words had been rehearsed a hundred times.
It came out effortlessly.
People like her were good at this—smiles, courtesy, the illusion of warmth.
Bianca forced a smile in return.
"I'm doing great."
"Well… what can I do for you?" Daisy finally asked, unable to figure it out any longer.
---
Bianca took a deep breath.
Then she glanced at William.
For a moment, even he wasn't sure—would she really do it?
But with that silent encouragement, something in Bianca shifted.
Her hesitation snapped.
She inhaled once more—
Daisy tilted her head, confused.
And then—
Bang!
Bianca's fist slammed straight into her face.
Daisy staggered back, completely stunned.
Her mind went blank from the sudden blow.
The little boy beside her screamed, "Mom!"
But Daisy didn't even respond.
Right now, all she could focus on was herself—
on the blood dripping from her nose.
She stared at it in disbelief, then shot Bianca a furious glare.
"What the hell was that for?!"
Bianca let out a cold laugh.
"Maybe you forgot. But I didn't."
"Remember Rigby?"
---
That name hit like a trigger.
Her prom date.
The one Daisy had stolen.
And now—
Daisy was a Rigby.
"Fuck! You actually married him?! You bitch!" Bianca snapped, anger finally spilling out.
"Honey, what's going on?"
A tall, broad-shouldered man stepped out from inside the house—
only to freeze at the sight of his wife's bleeding nose.
"Holy shit! What happened to you?!"
He looked between Daisy and Bianca—
then suddenly blinked.
"…Bianca?"
Recognition dawned.
Clearly, back in high school, he had noticed her.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have agreed to be her prom date in the first place.
"Wow… it's been what, over ten years?" he said, momentarily forgetting everything else.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Daisy exploded.
"I'm bleeding here, and you're flirting with this bitch?!"
