Behind him, Prison Chief Rain of Shiryu was biting a cigar, a faint smile hanging at the corners of his mouth, and his fingers lightly tapping the handle of his sword.
"There seem to be a few noteworthy folks among this batch of prisoners," Magellan remarked casually.
"Oh?" Shiryu exhaled a smoke ring, "For the Chief to pay personal attention, they must not be small fries."
Magellan didn't reply, his gaze fixated on the figures at the forefront of the group.
"Star Clown, Buggy, crew member of the Roger Pirates, caused a ruckus at Cake Island months ago, escaped from the Charlotte family's prison, became famous overnight, bounty raised to 300 million Belly."
"Escaped back to Paradise, prepared to re-enter the New World at Shampodi coating, was struck unconscious along with the ship by a meteor, eventually discovered by Shampodi's Navy Soldier, successfully captured."
Former member of Roger?
Shiryu's eyes lit up, couldn't help but take a second look at the red nose, suddenly breathing a bit heavily.
"The two behind, White Horse Prince Cavendish, a super rookie with a bounty over 100 million, also captured in Shampodi."
"Hyena Bellamy, also a super rookie this season, captured in Shampodi."
"Indeed not small fries, but not big shots either, not even qualified to be sent to LV6."
Magellan looked sideways, "The reason they're mentioned is just that these folks were captured due to their association with a truly extraordinary person."
"Ah, I know."
Shiryu squinted, let out a low laugh, "Don't mention the outside, newspapers within Impel Down have gone wild, by now, who hasn't heard of that big shot's name."
"In front of the whole world, killed four bubble fat pigs in one breath, truly insanely over the top, tsk, if I ever get tired of being prison chief, thinking of becoming a pirate, I'd like this type of guy as BOSS. Maybe someday, I'll get the chance to kill some fat pigs for fun."
"Fat pigs... Shiryu, I know you're joking, but as the Prison Chief, you ought to be mindful of your words."
Magellan coldly snorted in displeasure, reprimanding him.
"In a place where light doesn't reach, even ghosts despise it, who can possibly keep an eye here?" Shiryu scoffed, indifferent.
Apart from Magellan, here he was the boss, no need to be polite to anyone.
"You..."
Magellan wanted to issue a warning but suddenly his face changed, quickly turned to head for the elevator, "Shiryu, I'll leave things here to you, watch over the new prisoners, I've got some business to attend to."
"Go ahead."
Shiryu shrugged.
He flicked ash off his cigar, swept his gaze over the prisoners below, finally settling on the dispirited red-nosed clown, a cruel smile playing at the corner of his mouth:
"Don't worry, haha, it's rare to have someone of such status come in, I'll definitely give them special treatment..."

Windless Zone, Nine Serpents.
Night was deep; inside the Amazon Lily palace, the lights flickered.
"Hancock, Hancock!!"
Granny Zaz climbed in from the third-floor windowsill, panting heavily as she held her knees, "Where's the newspaper I collected? Heard someone say you had it taken, is it true, you brat, weren't you always uninterested... huh?"
She suddenly froze, her voice abruptly cut off.
On the opposite sofa.
A graceful, slender figure tightly clutching a newspaper, curled up like a cooked shrimp, legs unconsciously rubbing against each other, murmuring dreamily like sleep-talking:
"Lord Xiano, yes, that's the look, that look as if looking at garbage... I beg you, gaze upon me a few more times with those eyes~"
"???"
Granny Zaz rubbed her eyes hard, confirmed she wasn't seeing things, mouth gaping wide open, her cane clattering to the ground.
