Chapter 472 - Chapter 241: What, Afraid to Face Me?

"Huh?"

Jack was momentarily stunned, not even noticing the Peacekeeper approaching next to him. He allowed its mechanical Golden Hook to slam heavily onto the back of his head.

Clang!

Sparks flew as the mechanical Golden Hook twisted and deformed, flying backward. The Peacekeeper looked at its now-empty wrist with a bit of bewilderment.

Jack finally snapped back to reality and became furious:

"I thought you were just a chubby and honest guy. If you don't want to say, then don't! What's the point of making up so many lies?"

To speak so clearly about confidential details to the enemy, does he think I'm a three-year-old, that easy to trick?

"Game over!"

Jack shouted angrily, exerting force with both arms to shake Sentomaru's giant axe away. Then, two scythes sliced through the air in a sharp arc, aiming straight for Sentomaru's vital points.

"A guy like you, who is hypocritical inside and out, disgusts me the most. Just die for me!"

------------

BOOM!

Loud noises reverberated from different directions, wave after wave.

The Navy soldiers, under orders from their superiors, had already retreated to the perimeter.

This level of battle was beyond the reach of the local branch garrison. It was better to seal off the gaps on the outskirts and maintain order along the way.

And those Super Rookies, some were still unconscious, while others had been gradually awakened. They sat on the ground, staring dumbfounded at the dazzling battle in the distance.

What on earth is happening?

Why have the renowned Endgame folks from the New World come to Shampodi?

As for who they're fighting against, the one going BIUBIUBIU in the sky is Navy Grand Admiral Kizaru, but who are the others?

"Ugh, my head still hurts."

Sanji held his head, feeling like he had a hangover, "I wonder if Chopper managed to escape. Did he blow the whistle and get big brother Shano?"

"Hmm?"

A raspy and weak, yet eerily familiar voice came from beside him, "You're a fan of big brother Shano too?"

"Of course."

Sanji responded irritably, "I went to sea to follow in his footsteps. If not for him saving my life, I might have long perished at sea."

"Ha, that sounds just like a fool I know. We really hit it off, eh. Hey, who do you think will win?"

"Of course, it's big brother Shano!" Sanji replied without hesitation. "Don't think that because the battle hasn't ended yet, that the World's No.1 Sword Master could lose to a guy with just a sword!"

"Oh? So sharp, hitting the nail right on the head. I completely agree with you, hey, comrade! Shall we be friends?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking!"

Sanji laughed heartily and turned his head, but his voice was suddenly cut off.

Facing him was Green Algae Head, who froze as he massaged his temples, staring blankly at him.

In the next second.

"Why is it you, you idiot!"

The two grabbed each other's collars, angrily yelling at each other.

------------

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

The fight between Shano and Shamrock had lasted hundreds of rounds, entering an intense stage.

They fought from the ground to the sky, and then from the sky to the sea's edge.

The open space of the entire amusement park area had almost been flattened to the ground. Several of the surrounding giant Red Trees had broken and collapsed.

The victor had yet to be determined, but who had the upper hand and who was at a disadvantage...the situation was gradually becoming clear.

"In my eyes, you've barely stepped into the General Emperor Level."

Shano knocked back the Western Sword with a punch and said coldly:

"But it seems like a significant part of your strength lies in that Hellhound. Without relying on external objects, you're much weaker than your brother. At most, you're just a weak Emperor General. Defeating me has become an impossible dream."

Weak Emperor General or not?

Shamrock's face turned to frost. He couldn't understand these strange terms, but he could clearly feel Shano's disdain.

It was disdain born of instinct, as if the opponent didn't consider him a true rival at all...

Curse that arrogant scoundrel!

Yet he had no room to refute!

Because, as Shano said, whether it's strength, Haki, or Body Techniques...he was equal with Shano in every aspect, but just a little weaker in each.

The cumulative effect reflected in their overall prowess was more than just a little gap.

As time slipped by, he was increasingly struggling, and the hope of winning became more and more elusive. Meanwhile, Kizaru, that bastard, wasn't even fighting with his full strength...

That was peculiar in itself.

How did this guy know about his original Western Sword being stolen?

That sword had been a companion through life and death. Had it not been for realizing the sword was lost and spending so long looking for it, he'd have recruited Shano much sooner.

This had cost him a chance, and allowed the other to steadily establish himself in the New World, developing to a point where he disdained to join the Divine Knight Order.

BOOM!

Just then, the deafening sound of cannon fire rolled in from afar.

Hmm?

Both men turned their heads at the same time. On the sea, several white warships lined up and headed in this direction.

"It's been years since I came to Shampodi. I can't believe there are so many cumbersome Pirate Ships. So brazen, these pirates! Hey, fleet! Spread out and surround Shampodi, don't let a single one escape!"

"Yes, Mr. Zephyr!"

The resounding replies echoed across the sea as Shamrock turned back, the anxiety on his face replaced by that self-confident arrogance:

"What a shame, Shano, it seems the goddess of fate doesn't favor mortal likes of you. The Navy's reinforcements were quicker than I thought, led by the former Grand Admiral Zephyr."

"You and your Endgame seem destined to fail, paying the price for your recklessness and arrogance..."

Shano also turned back and smiled:

"Is that so?"
