Chapter 601 - Chapter 231: You Just Give It Your All, Leave the Rest to Miracles

Harry obviously wasn't in the mood to indulge himself; he was just tired, incredibly tired, as if his body had been drained.

After all, he had overexerted himself mentally in the Map Secret Room, and still felt dizzy, unable to summon any energy.

So when he suggested going back to the dormitory for a nap, Vivi found it puzzling.

But trusting Harry's instincts, Vivi didn't think much of it, and with a flash of violet light in her eyes, watched him head back to the dorm.

All those years practicing the Mind Sealing Spell hadn't gone to waste. Almost as soon as that flash crossed Vivi's eyes, Harry emptied his mind.

Vivi's flawless Mind Reading could only glide over his bare mind, unable to find any flaws or cracks.

Back in the dorm, Harry collapsed onto his bed and fell asleep immediately.

Almost as soon as his head touched the pillow, he sank into a deep slumber.

During dinner, Ron saw him sleeping soundly, hesitated for a while but ultimately decided not to wake him, opting instead to bring back a tuna sandwich for him in case he woke up hungry.

The next day being Sunday, with no classes, Harry went back to the Map Secret Room after breakfast.

Except…

Upon reaching the Map Secret Room, he found that the professors' portraits had vanished without a trace.

?!?!

What happened here?

Harry stared around in shock at the empty spot where the portraits should have been, as if the room had been raided by some extraordinary thief.

This was utterly bizarre, and after searching fruitlessly, he promptly left the Map Secret Room and took out his Crystal Ball to contact Vivi.

"Beep... Beep..."

The figure of Vivi above the Crystal Ball suddenly turned into a blonde beauty with a high ponytail, judging by the surroundings, it seemed like she was in her Muggle World room.

"Hey, Harry." Vivi greeted, "Good morning ——"

"Good morning." Harry said worriedly, "I just arrived at the Map Secret Room and discovered the professors' portraits were taken away——Jesus and Bible, why would anyone think of taking the frame too?"

"Oh, that was me." Vivi responded cheerfully, "Sorry, you were too tired yesterday, so I didn't notify you. I meant to tell you within the next two days... Considering the professors were far too lonely in the Map Secret Room, I brought them out. They might end up in the office in the future— All in all, I believe they shouldn't be confined to just one corner of the Map Secret Room, don't you think?"

What an impeccable reasoning, Harry really had no space to argue.

"You've thought it through, Vivi." He reluctantly admitted to the established fact with a pinch of his nose, "Since that's the case, the professors should be happy, right— It's good someone cares for them."

Vivi tilted her head slightly, sweeping her gaze over Professor Luke Wood and Professor Sen Bakaer, who were sighing and lamenting, then smiled and said, "Don't worry, the professors are very happy."

"Then I'm relieved." Harry said with genuine comfort.

After exchanging a few more words, Harry hung up the call.

Seems like... the professors can't be relied upon right now.

The only option left now is to practice independently as suggested by Professor Luke Wood.

However... Is Professor Luke Wood's method reliable?

Harry was somewhat doubtful but decided to try, keeping in mind the last resort of a dying horse is to act as a live horse.

But he'll need to find a safe place and have someone accompany him, in case something goes wrong and there's no one to help, then it'd be a lost cause.

Thinking of this made him a bit apprehensive.

He was really bold yesterday; had something gone wrong in the Map Secret Room, it could've been...

Oh, maybe not necessarily, Principal Fitzgerald had a portrait in the Headmaster's Office and could notify Dumbledore at any time, who could then inform Vivi, so there would be hope.

As he left the Map Secret Room, Harry thought of three candidates.

Cassandra, Pabi, and Little Sirius.

He quickly ruled out Cassandra.

No, it's not possible.

In this matter, Cassandra and Vivi are like two peas in a pod.

He couldn't trust that Cassandra would suddenly have a change of heart and allow him to practice the advanced application of the Mind Sealing Spell.

Then…

Pabi?

Pabi might work, she's worth considering as a candidate.

Little Sirius, of course, goes without saying; my Godfather wouldn't harm me, would he?

Thinking this, Harry headed to the Hufflepuff common room.

He grabbed Megan, who was joking with her classmates, and said, "Megan, help me find Pabi, Pabi Swedding."

"Okay." Megan made an OK gesture, turning to enter the Hufflepuff common room.

After about five minutes, Megan came back.

"Sorry, Harry." Megan said, "Miss Swedding is not in her room, no one knows where she went."

"Alright." Harry nodded, turning to walk out of the castle.

Since she's not in the common room, Pabi must be in her nephew's tent.

Speaking of which, he knew Pabi well enough, and sure enough, Harry found Pabi sipping tea in Newt Scamander's tent.

"Why did you suddenly start liking tea?" Harry asked curiously, "Didn't you tell me before you didn't like tea in the morning?"
