Chapter 599 - Chapter 230: Vivi: Just This Once!

Developing ancient magic?

This is indeed a good idea, to be honest, Snape's suggestion is quite constructive.

But the problem is, developing it with Miss Grindelwald?

Harry doesn't think Vivi can work with him on developing the application methods of this ancient magic spell, just like Little Sirius speculated, Vivi would rather let him keep this flaw so she can read his true thoughts clearly.

Such a schemer.

"What's up?" Snape's greasy, sarcastic tone appeared once more: "Instead of seeking out your all-purpose Miss Grindelwald, you come to bother your old professor, delaying his time to brew the Tooth Health Potion for the principal... Perhaps the old professor doesn't mind, but the principal who doesn't want to disclose his name might not be so forgiving."

Not wanting to disclose his name, and still calling him principal?

Who doesn't know you mean Dumbledore?

Anyway...

Harry actually agreed with what Snape said. After pondering for a moment, he bid Snape farewell and headed toward the Map Secret Room.

Ever since Vivi was revived, Harry occasionally accompanied her to visit the professors in the Map Secret Room.

Regarding the portrait issue, Vivi explained that she absorbed the portrait's memory.

Her reasoning was that she was now alive, and having the portrait hanging in the Map Secret Room was somewhat unlucky.

So Harry didn't inquire further, accepting whatever she said.

The last time he came to the Map Secret Room was last week after Vivi returned to school, and Harry followed her here to visit the professors.

As the door slowly opened, Harry walked into the Map Secret Room.

"Ha, Potter."

Professor Luke Wood greeted Harry with a "ha," whose meaning was unclear.

Was he welcoming Harry, or not welcoming him?

The portrait where Vivi originally stood has completely changed its frame and was renovated last year with Professor Sen Bakaer invited back.

Over the years, Professor Sen Bakaer had been staying in some unknown corner, which indeed was a bit pitiful.

"Ha, Potter!"

This was Professor Lachham's greeting, waving at Harry with an amiable expression.

"Ha, Potter!"

Professor Sen Bakaer didn't seem very pleased; perhaps harboring some resentment towards Harry—after all, if it weren't for his disappearance, Professor Sen Bakaer wouldn't have languished in a lonely corner for a hundred years.

A hundred years!

Do you know how I've spent these hundred years!

I didn't even have anyone to talk to!

"Oh, Harry."

The only one who seemed genuinely happy to see Harry was Principal Fitzgerald.

"Hello, professors." Harry greeted the professors very politely.

"I remember you already came last month with that little girl from the Grindelwald family, didn't you, Potter?" Professor Sen Bakaer narrowed his eyes and asked with an aggressive tone.

Harry didn't deny it, nodding as he said, "Yes, professor, I did come with Vivi... but this time I have other business."

"What business?" Professor Luke Wood asked.

"It's just..."

Harry thought for a moment and began to organize his words.

"I've learned the Mind Sealing Spell and can now clear my mind—but I want to learn more advanced applications of the Mind Sealing Spell. Professor Snape told me that perhaps ancient magic could be applied to the Mind Sealing Spell."

"That is indeed a good suggestion." Principal Fitzgerald nodded and said, "It's a good thing, why not go find Vivi?"

"Uh..."

Harry's expression suddenly turned awkward.

"What's wrong?" Principal Fitzgerald asked suspiciously.

Reluctantly, Harry had to speak the truth: "Vivi doesn't want to teach me how to advance in using the Mind Sealing Spell. She thinks I should focus on learning magic spells now, rather than on these ethereal things."

As soon as Harry finished speaking, Professor Sen Bakaer slammed his palm as if discovering a new continent.

"Ha! I knew it! She certainly doesn't want to teach you that—back then, I bet the professors... do you remember? A hundred years ago, you said you wanted to learn the Mind Sealing Spell, but that little girl always changed the topic with something else... After she left, I told Principal Fitzgerald that this girl definitely wanted you to have no secrets in front of her and that's why she was like this..."

"Uh..."

Harry didn't know what to say, so he relied on a universal "uh."

"Alright then." Professor Sen Bakaer showed a smile: "Since Miss Grindelwald doesn't want to teach you, I can reluctantly take on the responsibility of a professor—though I haven't tried applying ancient magic to the Mind Sealing Spell, I can give you some directions I thought of when I was still alive..."

Clearly, Professor Sen Bakaer held some grudges, still remembering the hundred years in solitary confinement by Vivi.

"I have no objections." Professor Luke Wood also said: "In fact, during these years of idleness, I've had some thoughts as well, so... Potter, you could give it a try."

"I have no objections either." Professor Lachham said cheerfully, eager to see what unfolds, which is his main reason for helping Harry.

Seeing all the professors supporting his idea, Harry felt this was fantastic.

"Cool." He said happily: "So, when do we start?"
