Harry doesn't think Vivi can work with him on developing the application methods of this ancient magic spell, just like Little Sirius speculated, Vivi would rather let him keep this flaw so she can read his true thoughts clearly.

Ever since Vivi was revived, Harry occasionally accompanied her to visit the professors in the Map Secret Room.
Regarding the portrait issue, Vivi explained that she absorbed the portrait's memory.
Her reasoning was that she was now alive, and having the portrait hanging in the Map Secret Room was somewhat unlucky.
So Harry didn't inquire further, accepting whatever she said.
The last time he came to the Map Secret Room was last week after Vivi returned to school, and Harry followed her here to visit the professors.
As the door slowly opened, Harry walked into the Map Secret Room.
