Chapter 499 - Chapter 190: Summoning the Death God (Part 2)

"Oh, you mean this."

Mr. Leme responded, taking out the crystal ball computer he invented himself.

"Here." He handed a crystal ball to Vivi, then took another one for Harry.

After both took their respective crystal balls, Mr. Leme said, "Now, place your hand on it and input your magic power."

Hearing Mr. Leme's words, they obliged.

"Harry," Mr. Leme said to Harry, "While holding the crystal ball and inputting your magic power, think about wanting to talk to Miss Grindelwald."

Harry nodded, holding the crystal ball and inputting his magic power, also thinking about wanting to talk to Vivi.

The next moment, a phantom of Harry appeared on Vivi's crystal ball, grinning foolishly with a very conspicuous scar on his head.

"This is another use of the computer, although it's not very portable—I know this crystal ball is a bit heavy," Mr. Leme said with a chuckle. "But I thought of this instant communication function long ago. So, Miss Grindelwald, tap Harry's head to accept the call—or you can also think about accepting it."

Vivi followed suit and tapped the scar on Harry's forehead.

Sure enough, the phantom flickered, turning into Harry holding the crystal ball.

"Oh, it's changing!" Harry exclaimed.

At the same time, Harry in Vivi's hand exclaimed, "Oh, it's changing!"

"See, I think wizards have their merits too," Mr. Leme said with a chuckle. "At least we don't have to envy the Muggles' ways, don't you think?"

"It's a very good idea, but..." Vivi pondered for a moment, "What if I'm in the Muggle world? For example, if I'm in class and Harry suddenly sends a message, I can't just carry a crystal ball..."

Mr. Leme looked at Vivi helplessly.

He walked over with small steps and tapped Vivi's crystal ball.

A miracle happened, and the crystal ball transformed into a phone identical to the Motorola 3200.

"You're a wizard," Mr. Leme said with a sarcastic tone. "Shouldn't we solve this with wizardry? Like using a Transformation Spell—"

"You're right," Vivi accepted Mr. Leme's critique with pleasure. She took the phone, held it, and in her mind wished to talk to Harry, just as Harry initiated communication with her before, causing her phantom to appear on Harry's crystal ball.

"So, this multifunctional crystal ball, I believe, could be priced quite high," Mr. Leme started discussing the pricing of the crystal ball, "I'm getting old, you certainly don't want an old man to spend time and effort customizing crystal balls for you youngsters, right? So.... if you want a crystal ball, you'll need to exchange precious alchemy materials..."

"It's what you deserve," everyone said.

Secretly, Mr. Leme was also troubled, even his hundreds of years of collections couldn't withstand the astronomical consumption recently, and if he didn't replenish, his collections might run out in a few days.

He felt a little regretful now, wishing he hadn't distributed his collections one by one during his feigned death.

"Those alchemy materials are of no use to me," Newt was the first to speak up. "So... I intend to return them to you, Mr. Leme, in exchange for three crystal balls... oh, six."

"Why do you want six?" Mr. Leme asked curiously.

"Look," Newt said, "Besides Tina and me, Theseus also needs a crystal ball. He's currently over at Nimongard keeping an eye on Grindelwald, and sometimes needs to chat... Also, Auntie Pabi needs one, and Queenie and Jacob. Goodness, when I last saw Jacob, he was so old, but still so spirited..."

"Of course, he's full of spirit," Mr. Leme gave Newt a meaningful smile, "In that case..."

Mr. Leme jogged over to the side, took out his magic wand, and picked out a small box containing six crystal balls.

"Here, these are your crystal balls. As for the instructions, I think you should remember, but I need to remind you that Jacob is a Muggle; he can't activate the wizard version of the crystal ball, so I made one that even Muggles can use. The slightly larger one inside is the one."

"Thank you, Mr. Leme," Newt said gratefully.

"Don't look at me, Mr. Leme," Vivi preemptively told Mr. Leme. "Gael has emptied my treasury, and there's only my crown left in it. As for the Golden Galleons and alchemy materials, they've been completely swept away by him..."

"Oh, don't worry about that," Mr. Leme said with a chuckle. "You, Harry, and Miss Malfoy are all free..."

Harry was a bit puzzled about why Mr. Leme wasn't charging him any fees.

Of course, he would never have guessed that, in Mr. Leme's view, the fun they provided the Leme couple was more precious than any treasure.

Ever since he met them, Mr. Leme felt that life had become much more enjoyable.

Just then, a violent flash of light erupted in Mr. Leme's Alchemy Room.

Then, the entire room began to tremble.

"Watch out!" Vivi shouted, drawing her magic wand, ready to defend at any moment.

Harry was the same, scanning around alertly, trying to figure out what was going on.

The Alchemy Room continued shaking, with the magic lights on the ceiling swaying back and forth.

A wave of intense magical disturbance suddenly appeared, spreading throughout the entire Alchemy Room.

Then, this disturbance burst forth, sweeping outwards in all directions.

The Forbidden Forest, nearest to Mr. Leme's Alchemy Room, bore the brunt of the magical shockwave, bending towards the direction of the wave.

In an instant, all the trees in the Forbidden Forest, including the Beating Willow on the periphery, shed their leaves immediately.

Within seconds, the entire forest turned desolate like deep winter, leaving only bare branches and trunks.

The people inside the Alchemy Room didn't witness the scene in the Forbidden Forest; they were just starting to recover from the magical shockwave.

Suddenly, Harry had an insight.

"Could it be Death God?" he asked.

Hearing Harry's words, everyone's heart skipped a beat.

Except for Death God, who else could possess such terrifying magical power?

"Maybe she has arrived," Dumbledore said, "In that small room just now, I had a... a premonition, I'm sure she's inside."

"Then let's go take a look," Harry suggested. "Since we've summoned her, it's only polite to meet her, otherwise it would be a bit rude."

"I hope you realize the danger, poor little Potter," Cassandra said, spreading her hands. "Are you going to let your stupid courage cause you trouble again and send you back a hundred years?"

"If there's danger, no matter how we avoid it, we can't escape."

After Harry finished, he took the lead towards the room marked with the Death God summoning talisman.

"He has a point," Dumbledore raised his eyebrows, following Harry into the small room.
