Chapter 489 - Chapter 187: What Is It Like to Summon the Death God on Halloween? (12,000 Words) _4

"They look just like the real thing, don't they?" the twins chuckled, "I bet the eyes of this snake monster are real emeralds."

Harry didn't speak, he shoved the hairpin into his pocket.

As he did so, he felt relieved that he wasn't wearing Vivi's dress, or else it would have been terribly embarrassing.

What he hadn't expected was that Vivi's first stop wasn't the Great Hall, but back to the dormitory, seemingly to find Cassandra.

Of course, it wasn't something Harry could interfere with, so he could only follow his classmates into the Great Hall.

The festive atmosphere in the hall was delightful, the entire place was decorated under the guidance of Professor Flitwick. You could see thousands of bats fluttering around, divided into two groups—one gathering at the ceiling, weaving through the shiny pumpkin lanterns; the other group flew back and forth over the dining tables, looking like drifting clouds.

The professors were also dressed in Halloween costumes, Dumbledore wore a retro style woman's dress, which made Draco comment that it was nauseating; while Professor McGonagall didn't wear any special outfit, she just put a note on her pointed Wizard Hat, which read "CAT."

It perfectly matched everyone's stereotypical impression of Professor McGonagall, a strict old lady pushing her limits.

At the staff table, two people were particularly eye-catching, as everyone discovered two Professor Snapes.

Yes, two Professor Snapes.

Snape himself was still in his black robe today, as if the robe was a family heirloom he could never part from; meanwhile, Little Sirius had managed to buy a robe identical to Snape's from somewhere, complete with a wig, turning him into a perfect Snape look-alike.

The two sat together at the staff table, right next to each other...

Originally, Snape wouldn't have sat next to Little Sirius, but there was no way Little Sirius would miss an opportunity to antagonize Snape...

Lupin, wearing a wolf mask, sat nearby, trying to hide his face with the mask, as he couldn't bear to watch.

He had already advised Little Sirius against doing this, once was enough, doing it twice felt excessive.

But Little Sirius wasn't one to listen to advice, he was convinced that the Snot Spirit was Gryffindor's enemy and should never be let off the hook.

As the two sat there in silence, Little Sirius suddenly stood up.

Under Snape's icy glare, he walked over to where Harry, Ron, and their group had just entered the Great Hall, attracting the attention of everyone present.

"Potter!" Little Sirius mimicked Snape's tone, imitating it perfectly.

"Professor," Harry greeted him, trying to hold back his laughter.

Little Sirius looked down at Harry's Slytherin attire and couldn't help but sigh internally.

Oh fork!

I have let you down!

Look at my dear godson, what has he become!

He's dressed in a Slytherin uniform!

"Why are you wearing Slytherin clothes?" Little Sirius glanced again at the Slytherin badge in Harry's hand.

"Oh, it's Vivi's idea."

Just as Harry finished speaking, Vivi walked in clad in a Gryffindor uniform.

"Professor Snape," Vivi deliberately greeted Little Sirius, then apologized while stifling a laugh, "Sorry, it turns out it's you, B... Assistant Black, I really didn't recognize you."

Little Sirius forced a smile, took a deep breath, and patted Harry on the shoulder.

"Your old godfather's heart isn't too good..." he said, clutching his chest.

Saying that, he turned and returned to the staff table.

Initially, Little Sirius was pleased by the thought of irking Snape, but seeing his godson in a Slytherin uniform utterly broke down his defenses.

He really hadn't anticipated that his beloved green-eyed son would betray Gryffindor!

Yet he was still unaware that Harry was wearing Vivi's clothes, or else he would have felt even more broken.

At Gryffindor's long table, Ginny was writing furiously.

Once the Weasley family was all gathered, Ginny secretly nudged her two brothers and passed them a small note while they looked on in confusion.

"I'll read it first," Fred said.

"No, me first!" George immediately countered.

They playfully punched each other a couple of times before deciding Fred would read first.

"His eyes as black as beetles dipped in ink, as darkly dashing as a blackboard, hair that flows like seaweed in the wind..."

Fred's eyes brightened as he read on, and by the end, both twins were singing in unison.

Little Sirius appeared silently behind them, tapping rhythm on his Magic Wand as they sang.

When they finished the last line, Little Sirius wiped his eyes and exclaimed, "Ah, music, more charming than anything we do here!"

Upon hearing this, everyone showed complex expressions.

Good heavens, you were just Snape, how did you jump to Dumbledore now?

Professor Sprout's costume was the cutest; she had dressed as the Beating Willow, with candy baskets hanging from the willow branches. She moved between the long tables, distributing candies to everyone.
