"So that's what happened, you really suck" Rita laughs as she drank some ice-cream, yeah they went out of the house to get ice-cream together at a big deal shop. I haven't describe Rita to you all yet... Well she came from a wealthy family and she had a life of her own as a young most successful painter there is at the age of 12 she got her first 1 billion after one of her paintings got a hit in the market deal and ever since her work continues to flourish but then she wanted a slow soft life and that's when she met her girlfriend. Not that Luke knows this yet.
"Yeah I do and I know it.... No need to rub it on my face..... So what happened to you???" Luke asked Rita.
"Well she said her life felt slow that she wanted more and that she was tired of staying in one place with me you know that sought of thing" she replied unbothered.
"How are you taking it then cause me not so well" Luke asked
"Well am not good either I won't lie about that but am done men you know am done crying it's only gonna hurt for a while but I will get over it just like you will" Rita response left Luke amazed.
But his expression came down quickly as he remembers the accident earlier.
"I which I would..." He said but more to himself cause he doesn't believe anything anymore. Even not to fate.
"Wanna talk about it huh..... Am a good listener " Rita inquired
."well it's my family but most especially my father and siblings... They hate me and the family is breaking because of me" he said
This took Rita by surprise, family issues are hard to handle and she knows it too because she hasn't talked to here parents for years now.
"That I can't really say anything about it but, if you need a place to you.... know lay low or get away from family drama then the door to my house is wide open for you ok always remember that " then she smiled
Liking the idea Luke just nods then smiles back also putting a spoon of ice-cream into his mouth.
So far he seemed distracted from family drama and the kiss he shared with Nathaniel.
They talked for some while on Random things that doesn't seem like much but it was enough to keep both themselves distracted from the chaos happening in their little lives.

They were now walking out of the ice-cream shop then they came across Nathaniel and his mom walking into the shop. This came as a surprise to Rita and mostly Luke who moved quickly avoiding Nathaniel and anything that would make them talk, Rita ran after him out the shop to meet him by Rita's car since that was what they used to come there in the first place.
"You ran from him, why???" Rita asked almost immediately.
"Because I don't know what to say to him.... After the kiss everything just seemed awkward" Luke replies
"Ok now get into the car cause this place suddenly lost its vibe"
"Yeah.... Let's do that" he responded looking back at the doors he came out from before entering the car.
On their way on the road Rita suddenly said something...."you know you are going to eventually talk to him right, you are not going to avoid him forever you know that"
"I know but right now I can't, even if I tried I just can't. At this moment things just ain't right you know what I mean " Luke just stares at the window.
"I get it.... If it were me i will do the same so I get what you mean lukey. i get it" and the both fell into silence enjoying the ride home.

Luke enjoyed his day with Rita and he seemed calm and relaxed.
He was dropped off at his house then he said his goodbye to Rita as she drove away. He took in deep breath then worked into the house to see something unexpected.
"Mom.... What's going on" Luke asked.
His mom just smiled and patted his hair like he was five....."baby don't you worry ok, we are living this place to get your peace and freedom you and I have always wanted" she dragged her boxes to the door "sweetie go get you things we are living soon"
Luke just looked confused and still nodded walking up the stairs to his room that's when he heard his father's voice.
"You two are living, just know that he will never amount to anything.... His siblings will always be better than him and trust me when you figure that out you will no longer have a place in this family and this house" he spat.
"What is your problem, he's just sixteen and God knows that he will be better for me and even though he doesn't I will still love my child the way I love him nothing will ever change that.... And to your understanding this was never a family in the first place" she spat back.
He later brought out his box cause he didn't really have anything in the house to begin with.
"Let's go baby mom will join you soon just have to do something....." He nods and want outside.
He was living this house for good the house that has always hated him, the home that broke him, the very place his demons dwell.... He felt happy, light but also saddened maybe by the encounter or by the languages used.
He heard his mom telling his siblings to look after each other and that she loves them deeply that she hate to live like this... Then she steps out with her boxes. After packing them in the back both entered their car driving out the driveway with the mom leading the way.
There is no way Luke was going to live his car with his siblings never not after all the mean things they did to him. If it were me I will do the same.

"Hey what's up" Kira asked through the phone
"Why ain't you at school.... The whole building is boring without you"
Luke just chuckled softly on the line "nothing, I know you miss me Kira.... But I will show up next week I still got things to do" he replied with the phone on his ear pinned against his shoulder as he washed the dishes that he and his mom used.
"Baby am about to live for work, mommy loves you remember that " his mom shouted from the living room.
"Ok mom, love you too and please don't worry about me.... I will be okay. Go before you get late" Luke shouted back from the kitchen.
"Okay take care... mom's living " she added before the door shut behind her.
"So, hey I went to your house and I was informed you left home with your mom" she said in an inquiring tone.
"Well it's a long story but yeah, mom got some balls and finally left the home with me after what seemed like a war happened after I left the house that morning " Luke just said it casually.
"Gonna talk about it.....???" She asked
"Nope not now.... I got a lot going through my mind right now but I will eventually like maybe if am ready" Luke signed.....
"Hey..... Lately Nate hasn't been himself and he looked miserable like something or a certain someone destroyed him" she sounded disturbed.
"That is also a long story, but the short version was we kissed and I freaked out and pulled away from him and haven't talked to him ever since" Luke summaries the long tale of his life under five seconds.
"..."
The other line went silent like the person talking minutes ago ended the line.
"Kira... You still there. Kira!!!" He sounded annoyed and afraid something happen to his friend.
"Still here am just trying to figure out everything you just told me in my head, you know see the bigger picture but..." It went silent again. Them there was a might scream.
"AHHHH HHHH..!!!!!!.... You what, you kissed and for a week you didn't tell me. Now I know you are a bad friend.....friends tell each other everything you know" she added clearly annoyed.
"Sorry kite I was just you know down with all the actions going on in my life and I couldn't tell anyone yet but I will tell you in detail when I come to class on Monday next week..."
"Promise..... Cause if you fail am breaking your neck" she threatened.
"Promise kite..... I promise with my life..." Luke promised.
"Catch you later, got some work to do okay" he said trying to end the call to focus on his work.
"Ok later.... Lukey am always here for you just know that" she comforted him
"I know and thank you kite... Love you. Bye"
"Byeee.." and call ends.
Luke took in deep breaths then muttered to himself "what am I going to do with this girl" but he smiled anyways.
He has been in his new home for quite some time now. It was hell but it was worth it, his mom got an apartment thou it was quite smaller than their first place but with both of them in it was great you know but they really had no other choice.
He and his mom had to stay in an hotel for a week before getting this house all the other ones were not up to his mom's taste and they were even smaller than this one they were currently staying in. And now they had to move in quickly as soon as the house was paid for now he's just settling in, although the life was unexpected but it was what he always need peace and quiet... Slow easy life him and his books and musics from his favourite song creator "Abel rhythm" from Suno App.
"Nathaniel....." He whispered as he remembers the boy's face now that Kira had remembered him. And he wondered how things are going for him since he pushed the boy away and now he knows he wasn't great at all.
"He isn't doing well just as I without him... God what should I do" he whispered with his eyes closed.
"If wishes were really real this would be a good time to wish and it comes through for me" he added pained by the whole situation.
"You are an idiot, you could have go with the flow of things and see how it goes but no you had to be terrified and pushed him away causing all these mess to surface" he slaps himself lightly.
"...sign....." He paused as if the silence had the answers he's been looking for.
"I wish everything would just miraculously work out for me just this once and I will be genuinely grateful to whatever God or entity that is out there...."
A minute turn to an hour, an hour turn into hours and he still wasn't done with the dishes he was lost in a dasy. This talk about Nathaniel being miserable was getting to him worst than he could admit. He doesn't want to see the boy he had come to love suffer just because he was a coward and kitchened out.
Now he was done living a lie, he was going to make things right with Nathaniel and God help him to do so..... With this new found determination in his heart he continues his choirs before going up to take a shower.
He was going to make this right and there was nothing that could stop him from doing it.

Hey guys this is yet another chapter that got me crying.... Though my life didn't go according to this chapter but it went almost the same way if you know what I mean and if you don't then fine out but the only truth is am still with my parents and with family although we fall out at times but we still stay together but I am thinking of moving out you know have a life, my own life, do my own thing and be my own self if it is possible live the country from all these toxicity of people here. But the down side is I can't not because I don't want to but because I don't have the fundings to do so and the place to stay. I have always dreamt of migrating to Canada live with the man I love and so on but no can do for that now..... Now enough about me back to the story it seems my boy Nate isn't taking the whole thing great but I only hope Luke fix it all and they live happily.
