Chapter 157 - Chapter 153: System Level 7! The Age of Anime Begins.

____________

In a place somewhere beyond time and space, where no sound reaches and no light is felt… the System was at work, with total silence and absolute precision, leaving no room for error.

Like a cosmic machine that never tires or falters, an invisible hand counted every read, every tear, every spike in dopamine, every fist tightened against a page, and every breath held before a scene no one expected.

Madara, in his cave, sank into his deteriorating thoughts, feeling intense curiosity about this thing called manga that had begun to pose a threat, especially in his current state as a frail old man on the brink of death.

Hanzo, in his fortress, brooded on how to take revenge against Uzumaki Rubiro, who had entered his land without a fight, due to the sheer awe he inspired. An Art Store was opened, and even Hanzo had become obsessed with the story.

The Raikage narrowed his eyes coldly, staring at the manga pages where every chapter revealed more glimpses of the future.

Granny Chiyo tried to look through Gaara to figure out his true story.

Kushina and Minato smiled instinctively every time they looked at Naruto's grin.

Mito, with her calm smile that hid a longing for death, found herself wanting to discover more since the manga appeared.

All of these people and thousands more, across the Five Great Nations, the three minor villages, the capital of the Land of Fire, and forgotten corners of the world…

Every heartbeat of theirs reached the System, and every emotion was translated into something the System understood: EXP.

[ Congratulations! The Art Publishing System has been upgraded, Level 7 ]

[ Feature Unlocked: Cinema Hall ]

[ Cinema Hall: By converting the System host's memories into vivid motion pictures, you can now broadcast a complete visual and auditory experience to all stores connected to the network. ]

...

3:00 AM. The main Art Store. Konoha.

Rob was sitting in his office, his brush still moving across the paper in a steady, calm rhythm as the pages of Volume Eight took shape one by one before him.

Then, the brush stopped, not because he wanted it to, but because something he had been waiting for finally happened.

The System level had risen once again.

Rob slowly raised his head.

On the vision screen, the words waited for him quietly.

He rubbed his eyes repeatedly, unable to believe that this upgrade had brought such a staggering feature.

"…A Cinema Hall, really!?" He placed his drawing brush on the desk.

He said it in a very low voice, as if tasting the word before fully absorbing it.

Then, a smile spread across his face.

It wasn't his usual calm smile; this was something bigger.

'The Anime…'

In that moment, his memory surged like a wave, sounds, colors, opening and ending themes, and OSTs opened doors that hadn't existed before.

Scenes that a silent page could not carry with the same weight.

Naruto runs on water for the first time.

Rock Lee drops his weights.

Kakashi reveals the face he never showed.

'These people haven't heard the music of this world yet…'

'They haven't heard Naruto's voice.'

'His real voice.'

Rob slowly stood up from his chair.

He walked toward the window overlooking the quiet street under the moonlight.

Konoha was asleep; half the world was asleep.

"But they won't be sleeping much longer," he thought, looking up at the sky.

"I need a little time to prepare for the grand show… from now on, the manga will always be ahead of the anime, but the anime won't fall behind in the presentation either."

"Everyone is going to love seeing Naruto as a living series."

...

Fifteen days passed.

Rob didn't leave the store much. When he did, his face was completely ordinary, carrying nothing worthy of attention.

The village had grown used to this rhythm: Uzumaki Rubiro draws, Uzumaki Rubiro releases a volume, the world ignites with excitement for a bit, then returns to catch its breath.

No one was expecting anything new, aside from Volume Eight.

Until this morning, something entirely new and unusual occurred.

7:00 AM. Konohagakure.

The first to notice it was an eight-year-old girl chasing her kitten down the street.

She stopped and looked up. "…What is this?"

Above the Art Store, where nothing had been before, a transparent display screen appeared.

It wasn't a sign or a massive piece of paper, but looked like a rectangular projection of light suspended in the air, high enough to be seen from any point in the village, and from all angles.

The screen wasn't displaying anything yet, just glowed with a calm white light.

Within minutes, the street was packed.

Not because anyone told anyone else, but because the light appeared, people saw it, and a strange light always attracts people.

"What is that thing above the store?"

"Is it a jutsu?"

"Did the store announce something?"

"I think it's from Uzumaki-san…"

"Of course it's from him, who else would do this?"

The clamor grew louder, for the screen of light was strangely eye-catching.

...

In the Hokage's office, an ANBU member had already arrived.

"Hokage-sama. A light screen has appeared above the Art Store in the village. Reports from the intelligence network indicate the same phenomenon is occurring in—"

"I can see it…"

The Third Hokage stood on the office balcony, staring directly at the light screen, lost in thought.

"Rubiro…"

"What are you doing this time?"

What Hiruzen, Danzo, and the others didn't know was that at that very moment, the screens atop all nine Art Stores lit up simultaneously.

...

Eyes soon widened as the sound of strange music began to emanate from the screen: Naruto OST 1 (I Said I'm Naruto).

What followed this brilliant OST was a showcase of familiar scenes from the manga and others that were unfamiliar.

The screen starts in total darkness, then is pierced by a deep, terrifying inhalation. Suddenly, a crimson light explodes on the horizon. It is the Nine-Tails' eye, centered in the sky like a blood moon.

The camera moves rapidly over a burning Konohagakure, where flames consume rooftops, and cries of despair can be heard. Then, with a sudden silence, the camera drops behind a single man.

The back of the Fourth Hokage appears, his white cloak inscribed withYellow Flash, fluttering madly in the winds generated by the beast's roar. He stands alone, tiny against the massive size of the Nine-Tails, yet steady as a mountain. He raises his hand to grasp a space-time kunai… then an overwhelming white flash covers the screen.

This was the first scene of the trailer that blew the viewers' minds, making them feel the sheer grandeur of the moment.

In the next scene, as the music continues, the flames gradually turn into calm white clouds in a clear sky. You hear the innocent laughter of a child fade, replaced by the sound of heavy, running footsteps.

A golden phrase emerges from the smoke: "Twelve years later..."

The screen shifts to a thick, cold mist. The massive blade of the Kubikiribōchō appears, slicing through the fog. Suddenly, the cloud parts to reveal Hatake Kakashi. He slowly lifts his headband, revealing for the first time on screen the Sharingan, spinning and glowing red amidst the dark mist. On the opposite side, Zabuza appears as a true demon, surrounded by an aura of killing intent.

The music shifts from powerful drums to the sound of a snake's hiss whispering in the readers' ears as an image of Sasuke appears, gasping in pain, falling to his knees in the Forest of Death. Behind him, a long, cold, pale shadow rises… it is Orochimaru. The shadow doesn't touch him but covers him completely as if swallowing him. Orochimaru's yellow eyes glint in the darkness of his shadow as he whispers: "You... are my next vessel."

The music explodes again with a warm, heroic tone. Seeing Naruto standing at the edge of the Kage-faces mountain, looking at the village with exhausted features. Suddenly, a massive hand, covered in scars and experience, descends and rests on his small shoulder. The camera moves from bottom to top to reveal the back of someone with long white hair and a massive scroll. His face isn't shown, but his stance provides a feeling of absolute security, as if Naruto is no longer alone from this moment on.

Then the scene shifts to the balcony of the Hokage's office. The sun is setting in the background, creating a halo of light around a woman standing firmly with her hands behind her back.

She wears the green Hokage robes, with the official hat placed on the table beside her. The wind moves her cloak, which bears the symbol of Fire, appearing as a symbol of strength, beauty, and the leadership the village had been missing.

Images clash at lightning speed: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, battles, tears, blood. Then the screen stops on Naruto's face as he gives his broad signature smile and adjusts his headband.

Everything vanishes, leaving the NARUTO logo etched in fire on the giant broadcast screen, with the phrase beneath it:

"Now... live the story as you have never seen it before."

A deadly silence reigned for a few moments, and then Konoha exploded with screams that had not been heard since its founding.
