Chapter 239 - Chapter 238 Thunderous Methods to Suppress the Entire Scene

Bullets hung in mid-air in front of Selina's forehead, as if blocked by a thick wall. The bullet tips were completely deformed into flat lumps.

If it were an ordinary person, seeing this situation would be very surprising. But Vampires are not ordinary people; they have been in contact with the other side of this World for much, much longer than the Human Race, so much so that as soon as this situation appeared, the Vampire leader shouted.

"Who is acting in the shadows? Mutants or Inhumans? This is the Dark Council carrying out orders. If you are an irrelevant person, please leave here as soon as possible. We will pretend you never appeared."

Hearing this, Zhou Yi suddenly felt enlightened. So there's such a thing as the Dark Council? Didn't they say there were only Sabbat and Camarilla? Remembering the introduction Young Miss Nysha once gave him, Zhou Yi shook his head. The Vampires in the U.S. have been out of contact with Europe for a long time; he didn't expect them not to even know that their basic system had changed.

But this has nothing to do with what he is doing now. A mere organization cannot scare him. With his identity, he would never quietly retreat just because he heard of a Dark Council he had never even heard of.

Stepping out from the shadows where no one had noticed him, Zhou Yi spoke to these Vampires and werewolves with a gentle smile, as if he were meeting an old friend.

"Excuse me, I'm a foreigner. I accidentally overheard what you were saying, and to be honest, I'm quite interested. I wonder if I can join in?"

As soon as Zhou Yi appeared, he immediately attracted everyone's attention. Both Vampires and werewolves aimed their weapons at him. They were not careless at all just because Zhou Yi was alone. In fact, they were all alert, as if facing a formidable enemy.

Just from their reactions, Zhou Yi could be sure that this group of Vampires and werewolves had definitely dealt with troublesome characters like Mutants many times. This point could be somewhat corroborated by their earlier questions. As for the Inhumans, although Zhou Yi hadn't heard much about them, he figured they were also a race with some mysterious abilities.

"Friend, this is a private matter of our Dark Council. We do not welcome the intervention of any outsiders. It doesn't matter whether you are a foreigner or a local!"

Although the Vampire leader's expression was not good, he had been suppressing his temper and hadn't taken any action. He didn't want to cause too much trouble for this matter. The Human Race might not be a problem, but if Mutants were involved, then it would be a big problem for their clan.

So he still wanted to make peace. Solving all problems without resorting to force was the best option.

However, even if he intended to make peace, how could Zhou Yi, who had already heard something he was interested in, be so easily bluffed away?

He smiled and took a few more steps forward, speaking to these Vampires and werewolves.

"I'm sorry, I'm really too interested in what you're saying. Although I really want to leave in my heart, you see, my feet moved on their own, completely out of my control. So, it seems I'd best stay with you."

At this point, the Vampire leader knew that it couldn't end peacefully. He subtly gave Lucian a look, and Lucian nodded. He waved his hand imperceptibly. Then, a dozen werewolves followed behind him, circling around to Zhou Yi's side.

And it was the same for the Vampires. A group of people blocked Zhou Yi's front, effectively surrounding him under their muzzles.

"One last chance, do you want to leave, or do you want to stay here forever?" The Vampire leader issued the final ultimatum. Compared to not wanting to offend Mutants and the like, the matter they were currently engaged in was clearly more important.

"I want to leave." Zhou Yi's words brought a smile to the Vampire leader's face, but very quickly, the next sentence made his entire face turn ashen. "But I want to stay more."

"Fire, fire! Kill him, kill him!" After repeated provocations, the Vampire leader finally realized that Zhou Yi was toying with him. He shouted, then was the first to raise his gun and open Fire on Zhou Yi.

Zhou Yi said he was very familiar with a hail of bullets. Facing the shooting from all directions, he spread his arms, making a gesture like an embrace. Then, countless bullets silently stopped in front of him, unable to advance an inch or move a hair's breadth. Soon, dense bullets filled every inch of space around him, a sight that could almost immediately trigger an attack in someone with trypophobia.

Seeing that firearms were useless, the Vampire leader immediately waved his hand. Behind him, several Vampires immediately darted out, climbing onto the ceiling like geckos, then running towards Zhou Yi using both hands and feet from above.

And on the werewolf side, several individuals also sprang out. As soon as they left the main group, they immediately tore off their clothes. Then, black fur began to grow all over their bodies, and their faces began to transform into ferocious wolf heads. After a few steps, they turned into wolf-like monsters over two meters tall. And they too began to run, charging towards Zhou Yi.

If shooting doesn't work, then resort to close combat. These guys from the Dark Council seem to understand that. But for Zhou Yi, this was completely like courting death.

Casually grabbing a handful of bullet tips from in front of him, as if picking peanuts, Zhou Yi first flung them at the Vampires on the ceiling.

He hadn't practiced hidden weapons much, but for these Little fellows, he felt he didn't need such advanced techniques as hidden weapons. As long as he scattered them like this, there were so many peanuts that he didn't believe he couldn't hit one. And as long as one was hit, sorry, with the Vampire's small Physique, there was really no hope of survival.

The fact was just as Zhou Yi thought. As soon as he finished flinging the handful, the Vampires on the ceiling immediately turned into bright torches, piece by piece. Large patches of ashes drifted everywhere with the wind, making the Vampires who were preparing to follow immediately stop in their tracks.

At this moment, the werewolves had already rushed in front of Zhou Yi. They let out fierce roars, like real beasts, bringing gusts of Blood Wind as they pounced on Zhou Yi.

Facing the drooling werewolves pouncing like mad dogs, Zhou Yi didn't even have the thought of touching them. He raised his eyebrows. Invisible psychokinesis, under his will, lashed out at these werewolves like a whip.

For these werewolves, an ordinary whip might not be as powerful as a ball of yarn. But a psychic whip was different, especially Zhou Yi's psychic whip. When swung, it could almost shatter steel, let alone a few small werewolves.

So, with just one contact, he showed these little wolf-dogs what pain was. The psychic long whip struck them in an instant. With one lash, whether it was the fur and skin on the outside, the muscles and nerves inside, or the bones and internal organs even deeper, everything became a complete mess.

This was practically an execution; no werewolf could endure such pain. Although their bodies were still in mid-air, their fierce roars had turned into the painful wails unique to canines. Two werewolves, whose vitality seemed strong, survived this whip and were lucky enough to live. But the rest were not so fortunate.

With their spines broken and internal organs shattered, they slowly turned into breathless corpses amidst faint wails.

Such brutal methods immediately frightened everyone present. Both the Vampire leader and Lucian rationally raised their hands, signaling their subordinates to stop the attack.

Unlike their emotionally agitated subordinates, those in high positions with broader vision could fully understand what the power displayed by this person represented. To be frank, with that move he just made, he could completely kill everyone present.

The Vampire Physique was not as strong as the werewolf's, and even Lucian, the strongest among the werewolves, did not believe he could withstand the power of that invisible attack. It could instantly kill an elite werewolf warrior. He had only seen this kind of power in the hands of the Elders in the high echelons of the Council who possessed miraculous abilities.

Thinking of this, Lucian and the Vampire leader opposite him exchanged glances. Both saw helplessness and bitterness in each other's eyes.

"Your Excellency, who exactly are you, and why do you want to interfere in the internal affairs of our Dark Council? If Your Excellency is willing to leave now, we are willing to compensate Your Excellency's losses with a generous reward. Five million pounds, transferred to Your Excellency's account immediately."

Hearing this, Zhou Yi immediately realized the huge difference between American Vampires and European Vampires. This kind of adaptable attitude alone was worth a hundred years of study for their counterparts in the U.S.. If it were another person, they might really be willing to shake hands and make peace.

Unfortunately, it was Zhou Yi here. As one of the richest people in the World, how could he interrupt his intentions for a small sum of money? Moreover, compared to the holy blood they mentioned, what was money?

With a slight movement of his eyebrows, the bullets clattered to the ground. Zhou Yi walked forward leisurely, speaking to these Vampires with a pleasant expression.

"Although your attitude is good, I still have to apologize. I'm really not short of money. And compared to money, I'd rather you answer some questions for me."

As soon as he finished speaking, the Vampire leader floated up. He felt an invisible force acting on him. Almost instantly, all the bones in his body made crackling sounds under the unbearable pressure. He had no doubt that if this force were to hit a little harder, he would turn into a puddle of mud. So he began to speak in a voice mixed with fear, as if asking for a way out.

Looking at his eyes, Zhou Yi felt quite guilty. So he coughed slightly and assured him.

"Don't look at me like that, sir. I just want to ask some questions. As long as you answer me honestly, I promise you can be safe."

"Understood, understood. Please speak. I will answer whatever I know." The Vampire leader had an expression like someone whose family had died. If Zhou Yi could see into his heart, he would find that he was absolutely collapsing inside at this moment.

Vampires are also living beings; they don't want to encounter monsters like him!
